The Posterheroes international poster competition has announced its 15th edition under the theme “Still Human,” encouraging designers, artists, students, and creative thinkers from around the world to explore the evolving relationship between humans and artificial intelligence.
The competition challenges participants to examine the delicate balance between automation and human responsibility, creativity and efficiency, and technological progress and personal agency. Rather than criticizing technology, the initiative aims to make visible the social, cultural, and emotional impacts generated by increasingly intelligent systems.
Exploring Humanity in a Digital World
This year’s theme raises several thought-provoking questions:
- What remains uniquely human in a world shaped by algorithms and data?
- How does artificial intelligence influence creativity and authorship?
- Can human imagination coexist with machine-generated content?
- What kind of future society is emerging through AI-driven systems?
Through visual communication and poster design, participants are encouraged to express their interpretations of these questions and contribute to an international dialogue on the future of humanity and technology.
Competition Guidelines
Participants are invited to create original and unpublished posters in 70×100 cm format. All text included in the artwork must be in English.
Each participant may submit up to three posters through the official upload platform after registration. Organizers have also advised finalists to keep their editable open files ready for verification and authentication purposes.
Awards and Recognition
The competition offers prestigious awards and mentions, including:
- Favini Mention: €2,500
- Fondazione Time2 Mention: €1,500
- Additional mentions to be announced
Selected finalists will gain international exposure, with the possibility of their works being featured among the competition’s showcased entries.
Submission Deadline
The final date for submission is 31 July 2026.
