During his sports career Dhyan Chand had won three Olympic medals and till date remains the only hockey player who has received the Padma Bhushan award. CodeHers is open to female students across all engineering colleges in India who are pursuing: 

• BE/BTech full-time programs from 3rd and 4th Year (2021, 2022 pass out’s only) 1st and 2nd-year students are not eligible to apply
• Dual degree full-time programs from 4th and 5th year (2021, 2022 pass out’s only) 1st/2nd/3rd-year students are not eligible to apply

Mathrubhumi Seed and Mangat Purushothama Menon Foundation is organising an online quiz for the students of Kerala state.

Terms and Conditions

The Online Quiz competition will be held on 9th January 2021.

The Quiz is for high school students (8th, 9th, and 10th).

The Online quiz will consist of 50 questions.

The questions will be from the world of General Knowledge.

Each question carries one mark. No negative marking for wrong answers.

Questions will be of Multiple Choice.

The registered participants will get a username and password in their respective Email id’s which can be used for logging into the portal of the quiz.

You can attempt the quiz only once.

The quiz has a time limit of 20 seconds for each question. If not answered within the stipulated time, the next question will be highlighted.

If there is a tie-break, there will be an additional round to break the tie.

The winners need to submit the official declaration letter issued by the institution and a passport size photo.

The winners of the Seed online quiz will be announced through the Mathrubhumi Newspaper.

The Prize for the First three winners will be Rs.10000, 7500 & 5000 respectively and there will be 10 consolation prizes of Rs.1000/- each.

The winners of the quiz are strictly selected based on the marks scored. Any dispute regarding the choice of winners will not be entertained.

The organizer’s decision on any aspect of competition will be final and binding.

Participation in the quiz implies that participants accept the integrity of these rules. Non-compliance with the rules will lead to automatic cancellation of the participation in the quiz.

The Discover Gandhi 2020 Quiz is being organized by National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi, an autonomous body set up in 1961 by the Government of India to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on policies and programes for qualitative improvement in school education. The Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India is arranging a series of Webinars under the over all theme of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’. Recognising the fact that revival in the tourism sector will be largely spearheaded by Domestic Tourism, the Ministry is focusing on the promotion of Domestic Tourism.

The objective of these Webinars is to promote various tourism destinations of India – including the lesser known destinations and lesser known facets of popular destinations. Concepts of Responsible Tourism, Accessible Tourism, Wildlife, Trekking, Bicycling and Motor Cycle Tours, etc. have also been promoted through the Webinars. A repository of all the Webinars is being maintained by the Ministry and YouTube links to the Webinars are made available on the Incredible India Social Media handles of the Ministry of Tourism.

The webinars have been well received with participants including the travel industry stakeholders, students as well as the general public. The webinars have had a total viewership of over 200,000 and have seen participation from more than 60 countries across the world.
