The Discover Gandhi 2020 Quiz is being organized by National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi, an autonomous body set up in 1961 by the Government of India to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on policies and programes for qualitative improvement in school education. To increase awareness about the Gandhi in students, an online quiz competition will be conducted by NCERT in association with Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
The quiz portal can be accessed on Discover Gandhi portal at: http://gandhiparichay.in/
DIKSHA platform (https://diksha.gov.in/) and the Discover Gandhi mobile App which can be
easily downloaded from Google Play Store on Android mobile phone
To facilitate Children with Special Needs (CwSN) audio recordings are embedded in quiz for questions as well as instructions on how to take the quiz.
The quiz will be open from 2 OCTOBER, 2020 starting~ 10.00 AM and will close on 1 NOVEMBER, 2020 midnight.
Guidlines
The quiz can be played in Hindi/English language.
Duration of the quiz will be 15 minutes (900 Seconds).
Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.
The criteria for selecting successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time”.
Each of the winners will be notified through telephone or the email address that they provided while filling the registration form.
Participants are advised to take the Quiz well before the Quiz end date to avoid any last minute technical glitches.
By entering the Quiz, the Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Organizers’ decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
NCERT reserves the rights to cancel or amend all or any part of the Quiz and/or the Terms and Conditions. However, any changes to the Terms and Conditions or cancellation of the Quiz, will be updated/ posted on the platform.
Each participant needs to create individual account on Discover Gandhi to appear for the Quiz. An individual is permitted to participate only once in the quiz.
One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded.
Quiz once started cannot be paused / stopped.
The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the Quiz from time to time.
You will be required to provide your name, class, school name, school ID, email address and telephone number. By submitting your contact details you will give consent to these details being used for the purpose of the Discover Gandhi quiz only.
Only Indian Citizen can participate in the quiz. Each participant will receive certificate of participation which can be downloaded from ‘Downloads Section’ of Discover Gandhi Quiz platform. The downloads section will be visible only after logging in to the website.
Organizers reserve all rights to disqualify or refuse participation to any participant if they deem participation or association of any participant which is detrimental to the Quiz or the Organizers or partners of the Quiz. The registrations shall be void if the information received by the Organizers is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false or erroneous.
Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the quiz will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.
