Eligibility criteria

Applicants must have scored at least 80% marks throughout.
Applicant must be pursuing their course in any of the Humanities subjects.

You will now be redirected to the ‘Helena Sengupta Scholarships’ application form page.
Fill in the required details in the online scholarship application form.
Upload the required documents.
Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

AICTE Pragati and Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students

Pragati is an MHRD Scheme being implemented by AICTE aimed at providing assistance for the Advancement of Girls pursuing Technical Education. Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with the knowledge, skill, and self-confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process.

This is an attempt to give young women the opportunity to further their education and prepare for a
successful future by “Empowering Women through Technical Education”

Salient Features of the Scheme

  • Total Number of Scholarship-4000 per Annum ( 2000 for Degree and 2000 for Diploma)
  • The candidate should be admitted to 1st year of the Degree/Diploma course in any of the AICTE-approved Institutions of the respective year through the Centralized Admission process of the State/Central Government.
  • The Scholarships for degrees and Diplomas are transferable in event of the non-availability of eligible applicants in any of the Degree/Diploma level Programmes.
  • Two Girls Child per family are eligible, whose family income is not more than 8 lakh per annum during the preceding financial year.
  • Specially Abled Students, having a disability of not less than 40% and a family income not more than 8 Lakhs per annum during the preceding financial year.
  • Please note in the case of a married girl, the income of parents/in-laws, whichever is higher will be considered
  • The selection of candidates will be made on merit on the basis of a qualifying examination to peruse the respective Technical Degree/Diploma course from any of the AICTE-approved institutions.
  • Amount of scholarship: Tuition Fee of Rs. 30,000/- or at actual, whichever is less, and Rs.2000/- per month for 10 months as incidentals charges each year.
  • In case of Tuition fee waiver/reimbursement, Students are eligible to get an amount of Rs. 30,000/- for the purchase of Books/Equipment/Software/ Laptop/Desktop/Vehicle/Fee paid towards competitive examination applications forms/exams.
  • Reservation-15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 27% for OBC candidate/applicant.

Santoor Women’s Scholarship

The Santoor Scholarship program is an initiative of Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares. The program intends to financially support girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, who wish to pursue higher education after grade 12. Launched in 2016-17, the program offers support to 1800 students every year, across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh.

Ericsson Empowering Girl Scholarship Program 2022

Ericsson invites applications from meritorious girl students currently studying in the 2nd year of Engineering (IT/CS) or MBA program from anywhere in India. The scholarship is meant to support meritorious girl students coming from underprivileged sections of society. 


Eligibility:
The applicants must be currently studying in the 2nd year of engineering (IT/CS) or MBA program at reputed colleges in India. Applicants must have scored at least 6.5 GPA or equivalent marks in the previous final examination. The annual family income of the applicant from all sources must not be more than INR 6,00,000.

Prizes & Rewards:
INR 75,000 per year

Kalpana Chawla Chhatravriti Yojna for Girl Students of Himachal Pradesh


The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to institute a Post 10+2 Scholarship Scheme named as “Kalpana Chawla Chhatravriti Yojna” for the top meritorious girl students of the State in order to inspire them for higher education.

Salient Features
The scholarship will be given strictly on 10+2 merit declared as such by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala to the students of Government /Government Aided/Private Schools affiliated with H.P. Board of School Education.
The above mentioned scholarship will be awarded each year to top 2,000 meritorious girl students of all study groups i.e. Science, Arts and Commerce streams based on passing ratio in each group as per merit list supplied by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala, for post 10+2 courses, after 10+2 examination conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education.
Under this scholarship scheme an amount of Rs. 15,000/- only will be given to per student per year.

BEGUM HAZRAT MAHAL NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR MERITORIOUS GIRL STUDENTS

The Scheme of “Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship” for Meritorious Girl Students belonging to the Minority Communities was earlier known as “Maulana Azad National Scholarship for Meritorious Girls belonging Minorities” and the same was launched by the then Prime Minister of India (late) Atal Bihari Vajpayee at National Conference of Educational & Economic Development of Minorities held on 03.05.2003 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2022



Under the CSR Project on Education & Livelihood of Kotak Mahindra Group Companies, Kotak Education Foundation invites applications for Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2022 from Class 12th passed girl students, who have secured more than 75% and whose annual family income is less than or equivalent to INR 3,20,000. The scholarship aims to help meritorious girl students from underprivileged sections of society to pursue professional graduation courses from acclaimed universities and colleges.

Eligibility:
Meritorious girl students who have secured admission to 1st year graduation programmes in professional courses from institutes of repute (NAAC/NIRF accredited) can apply. Professional courses include professional graduation courses like Engineering, MBBS, Architecture, Design, integrated LLB, etc.
Applicants must have scored more than 75% marks in their Class 12th board examinations.
Annual family income must be INR 3,20,000 or less from all sources.

Prizes & Rewards:
Up to INR 1.5 lakh* per year
