CosmoMath 15 is a mathematics and space-themed competition conducted as part of the National Students' Space Challenge (NSSC) 2026, organised by IIT Kharagpur. The challenge brings together students to test their mathematical aptitude, logical thinking and problem-solving abilities through a series of online quizzes and an offline final round.
About CosmoMath 15
CosmoMath 15 features multiple online preliminary quizzes based on mathematics and related concepts. Participants can compete in one or more preliminary rounds, with their best performance considered for qualification.
The competition culminates in an offline final round at IIT Kharagpur as part of the National Students' Space Challenge.
Who Can Participate?
- Open to college students
- Participation can be individual or in teams
- Each team can have 1 to 3 members
- Team members may belong to different institutions
- Only the team leader needs to register on behalf of the team
Competition Structure
Preliminary Rounds
The preliminary stage consists of three online MCQ-based quizzes:
- CosmoMath 15.1
- CosmoMath 15.2
- CosmoMath 15.3
Teams may participate in one or more preliminary quizzes. For teams participating in multiple quizzes, their best score will be considered.
Final Round
Shortlisted teams will compete in an offline final round at IIT Kharagpur during the National Students' Space Challenge.
Prizes
The top three teams will receive cash prizes and goodies.
