Calling All Students for a Bright Future

The International Spell Bee 2026 is an online spelling competition for students of Grades 1 to 8. The competition provides students with an opportunity to improve their spelling, vocabulary and language skills while competing with students from across the world.

Exam Dates

Students can choose one of the following exam dates:

15 October 2026
31 October 2026

The exam will be available for 24 hours on the selected date. Students may begin the exam at any time during that period. Once started, the exam must be completed within 60 minutes.

Monitoring: AI-proctored examination
Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions

Registration

Registration Mode: Individual or through schools

Entry Fee: INR 500 per student

Registration Deadlines

For the 15 October 2026 exam: 10 October 2026
For the 31 October 2026 exam: 25 October 2026

Study Material

Students do not need to purchase expensive books or additional study materials. The spellings are based on the students' existing academic curriculum and books.

Students should follow the word list provided on the official syllabus page. Sample papers and a mock test are also available.

Mock Test

The mock test will be available from 1 October 2026 to 31 October 2026.

Students can start the mock test at any time during this period, but once started, it must be completed within 60 minutes.

Awards and Recognition

Top three students globally will receive the Achiever's Trophy.
Gold Medal: Above 96%
Silver Medal: Above 93% up to 96%
Bronze Medal: 90% up to 93%
Every participant will receive a Digital Participation Certificate.

Eligibility

Students of Grades 1 to 8 are eligible to participate.
