From mapping and monitoring the Earth's surface to applying AI and machine learning to geospatial data, the challenge provides a platform to experiment, innovate, and demonstrate how technology can create meaningful impact.

๐Ÿค– A World of Possibilities with AI and Geo-intelligence

The hackathon focuses on emerging technologies that are transforming the way we understand the Earth.

Participants can explore areas such as:

Geoscience and Remote Sensing
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Big Data and Geo-intelligence
Digital Earth modeling
Mapping and spatial analysis
Environmental and Earth monitoring
Data-driven approaches to real-world geoscience challenges

The challenge is an opportunity not only to build a technical solution but also to demonstrate how innovative technology can address practical problems.

๐Ÿ† Three Days of Innovation, Competition and Collaboration

The hackathon is structured in two phases, giving participants an opportunity to develop and showcase their ideas.

Phase 1: Online Submission Round

Problem Disclosure: 5 October 2026
Submission Deadline: 20 October 2026

The first phase begins when the hackathon problems are disclosed on 5 October. Teams will then work on their proposed solutions and submit their work by 20 October 2026.

This is the opportunity for teams to solve, submit and stand out.

The strongest teams will be selected to progress to the grand finale.

Phase 2: Offline Grand Finale

The selected teams will compete live at the InGARSS 2026 event at The Park Hyderabad.

This on-site finale will provide participants with an opportunity to present their solutions, demonstrate their ideas, interact with fellow innovators, and compete for the top prizes.

It is more than just a competition—it is a chance to showcase your abilities before a wider professional and technical audience.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Exciting Cash Prizes

The competition offers attractive cash prizes for the top-performing teams:

๐Ÿฅ‡ Winner – ₹25,000 per team

๐Ÿฅˆ First Runner-Up – ₹17,500 per team
