National Poster Making Competition by CARA & MyGov

As part of Adoption Awareness Month 2025, the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, is proud to announce a nationwide Poster Making Competition. This thoughtful and creative initiative focuses on promoting adoption of children with special needs (Divyaang children) — a step toward building a more compassionate and inclusive India.

Through the universal language of art, this contest seeks to highlight that every child, regardless of ability, deserves the love, care, and security of a family.

Why This Matters

Across the country, there are numerous Divyaang children in institutional care who are waiting for the warmth of a home and the unconditional support of a loving family. This campaign aims to change perceptions, foster empathy, and promote non-institutionalised rehabilitation as a right, not a privilege.

The Poster Making Competition serves as a platform for citizens — especially artists, students, and social advocates — to come together and visually communicate one powerful message:
#EveryChildMatters.

Themes to Explore

Participants are encouraged to create posters around any of the following themes:

  1. Non-institutionalised Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs (Divyaang Children)

  2. Every Child Deserves a Loving Family

  3. Special Parenting for Children with Special Needs

  4. #EveryChildMatters

Each theme reflects a vital part of the adoption ecosystem, aiming to inspire families, shift mindsets, and support a child's right to grow up in a nurturing environment.

Evaluation Criteria

Entries will be judged based on:

  • Originality & Creativity

  • Simplicity of Message

  • Relatability to the Audience

  • Alignment with the Given Theme

Whether you're an experienced designer or a passionate student with a vision, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact through your art.

Awards & Recognition

To honour the best contributions, the Top 15 Winners will each receive a cash reward of ₹3,000.

Beyond the prize, selected entries may also be featured on official CARA and MyGov platforms, gaining national visibility and contributing to a cause that truly changes lives.

How to Enter

Visit the MyGov platform to access complete guidelines, design specifications, and submission details.

Let your creativity spark conversations, shift attitudes, and inspire action.
