As part of Adoption Awareness Month 2025, the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, is proud to announce a nationwide Poster Making Competition. This thoughtful and creative initiative focuses on promoting adoption of children with special needs (Divyaang children) — a step toward building a more compassionate and inclusive India.
Through the universal language of art, this contest seeks to highlight that every child, regardless of ability, deserves the love, care, and security of a family.
Why This Matters
Across the country, there are numerous Divyaang children in institutional care who are waiting for the warmth of a home and the unconditional support of a loving family. This campaign aims to change perceptions, foster empathy, and promote non-institutionalised rehabilitation as a right, not a privilege.
The Poster Making Competition serves as a platform for citizens — especially artists, students, and social advocates — to come together and visually communicate one powerful message:
#EveryChildMatters.

-
Non-institutionalised Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs (Divyaang Children)
