In a world where screens dominate daily life and social media defines interaction, are we truly connected—or more disconnected than ever? This thought-provoking question lies at the heart of Rang 2025, the annual art competition organised by the Art Journal Foundation. Designed to ignite imagination and creative expression among school students, Rang returns this year with the powerful theme: “Disconnected in a Connected World.”
About Art Journal Foundation
Art Journal Foundation (AJF), an initiative by Elevating Arts Private Limited, is more than just a platform—it is a movement aimed at nurturing creativity, experimentation, and critical thinking in the fields of art and culture. AJF supports the artistic journey from education to exploration, providing opportunities for young minds to grow as expressive, thoughtful individuals.
With Rang 2025, AJF invites students from around the world to explore the contradictions of modern communication through art.
Theme: Disconnected in a Connected World
Technology has bridged geographical distances but has it deepened emotional gaps? The theme challenges participants to reflect on how digital connections sometimes mask emotional disconnection. From people lost in screens to conversations drowned in silence, Rang 2025 invites young artists to interpret what it means to truly connect—or disconnect—in today’s hyper-connected age.
Participants are encouraged to create original artwork that explores this contrast with honesty, depth, and imagination.
