International Youth Math Challenge (IYMC) 2024: Unleash Your Math Potential
The International Youth Math Challenge (IYMC) is one of the largest global online math competitions, offering students from around the world a chance to prove their math skills and win awards and cash prizes worth over $700 USD.
How It Works:
- Qualification Round: Solve 3-4 of 5 math problems (depending on age) by December 15, 2024, to qualify for the pre-final round.
- Pre-Final Round: Register in October 2024 and solve 10 problems over four days. A registration fee of €8 applies.
- Final Round: Finalists take a supervised online exam, competing for certificates and cash prizes.
Who Can Participate?
- Open to high-school and university students worldwide.
- Students under 18 must solve at least 3 problems; those over 18 must solve 4 to qualify.
Awards & Prizes:
- 1st Prize: $150 USD
- 2nd Prize: $100 USD
- 3rd Prize: $50 USD
- National awards and certificates for all participants.
