EduJunior Painting Competition: A Platform for Young Artists to Shine

EduJunior is excited to announce its upcoming Painting Competition, inviting students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 to express their creativity and artistic skills on canvas. This competition offers young artists a special platform to showcase their talents, explore their ideas, and present their perspectives through art. With a focus on originality, creativity, and artistic expression, the competition encourages children to dream big and paint boldly.

Contest Details:

Eligibility: Open to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, the competition requires participants to have prior permission from a parent, guardian, or teacher.

Painting Specifications: Each participant can submit one original painting, created on an A3 sheet (11.7 x 16.5 inches) with a 0.5-inch black margin. The theme, chosen from a list tailored to each age group, must be clearly mentioned on the top margin. Only hand-made, original artwork that respects all cultural sentiments will be accepted.

Submission Requirements:

To complete their entry, participants need to submit:

• A clear photo of the painting in JPG or PNG format (not exceeding 2 MB)
• A picture of themselves holding their artwork
• A valid ID proof (School ID, Passport, Resident Permit, or Birth Certificate)
• Basic details such as name, grade, and school.

Submission Deadline: December 20, 2024
Registration Deadline: December 15, 2024

Entry Fee: INR 199 per student, payable upon registering through the provided registration form.

Evaluation and Judging:

Judging criteria include theme relevance, originality, creativity, composition, and the conveyed message. Each age group has unique themes, allowing young artists to dive into subjects that resonate with their age and interests.

Themes by Category:

• Kindergarten (Below Grade 1): Happy Animals, Colorful Flowers
• Grades 1-3: My Favorite Food, A Fun Day at the Park
• Grades 4-6: My Pet, A Day at the Beach
• Grades 7-9: My Hometown, Fun with Friends
• Grades 10-12: A Day in Nature, Simple Joys

Students can select one theme from their category to bring their ideas to life.

Prizes and Recognition:

The EduJunior Painting Competition promises attractive awards for young talents. Winners in each category will receive a trophy and certificate, with runners-up earning gold medals and certificates. Inspiring entries will be awarded silver medals and certificates, and all participants will receive a certificate of participation.

School Participation:

Schools are encouraged to participate and may submit entries collectively via email to painting@edujr.com.
