Leader in Me: 10th Annual Global Student Speech Contest 2025
We are excited to share a wonderful opportunity for our students to showcase their leadership, creativity, and communication skills on an international platform. The 2025 Leader in Me Global Student Speech Contest is now open for submissions, inviting students across all grade levels to reflect on the powerful theme:
"How can great leaders unite others?"
This inspiring prompt encourages students to explore how leadership can bring people together. Participants are invited to reflect on personal experiences or real-life examples from school or community settings where leadership played a key role in building trust, unity, and collaboration.
Contest Categories
Entries are accepted in two formats: Spoken and Visual. Students can choose the format that best suits their talents and creativity.

Ages 5–10: Spoken or Visual

Ages 11–15: Spoken or Visual

Ages 16–19: Spoken or Visual

School/Classroom: Spoken or Visual (group entries welcome)
Spoken entries can be traditional speeches, poems, songs, or any creative spoken-word format.
Visual entries should be submitted as a photograph of an original artwork (e.g., sculpture, painting, graphic design, or comic) along with a short video explaining how the art connects to the contest theme.

Awards and Recognition
Winners will receive prestigious leadership grants and will be featured on the Leader in Me blog and social media platforms.

Two Grand Prize Winners (ages 5–10) – $750 each

Two Grand Prize Winners (ages 11–15) – $750 each

Two Grand Prize Winners (ages 16–19) – $750 each

One School/Classroom Winner – $1,000

Popular Vote Winner – $500
Regional winners will also be recognized and celebrated across official Leader in Me platforms.
How to Participate
Students interested in participating should start preparing their entries now. Choose your preferred format—spoken or visual—and begin crafting a story or artwork that demonstrates how great leaders can inspire unity and togetherness.
This is a remarkable opportunity for students to express their voice, share their leadership vision, and join a global community of young change-makers.
