CyberShield Creators Infographic Contest: Design for a Safer Digital India

In an era where digital connectivity shapes our everyday lives, cyber safety is no longer optional — it’s essential. With online threats becoming more sophisticated, even simple missteps can lead to serious consequences. Recognizing the importance of digital awareness and the role of citizens in promoting safe online practices, the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), in collaboration with MyGov, has launched the CyberShield Creators Infographic Contest.

This unique initiative aims to empower creative minds to spread cyber awareness through impactful infographics, helping build a Cybercrime-free Digital Bharat.

What Is the CyberShield Creators Infographic Contest?

The contest calls upon individuals—especially students, digital creators, and cybersecurity enthusiasts—to design infographics that educate the public about practical, everyday habits for staying safe online. From recognizing phishing attempts and avoiding suspicious UPI requests to reporting scams via the 1930 cybercrime helpline, the aim is to turn digital best practices into eye-catching visuals that resonate with people of all ages.

By encouraging peer-to-peer learning through design, the contest amplifies the power of community-led cyber awareness.

Suggested Themes and Key Messages

Participants are encouraged to focus on key cyber safety practices such as:

  • Reporting Cybercrime: Use of helpline 1930 and cybercrime.gov.in

  • Safe UPI Usage: Avoid scanning unknown QR codes or sharing OTPs

  • Recognizing Scams: Identify suspicious job offers, fake links, or investment traps

  • Strong Digital Habits: Use of secure passwords, regular software updates, two-factor authentication

  • Social Media Safety: Avoid oversharing personal information

The infographic should be simple, informative, visually engaging, and easy to understand for a wide audience.

Why Participate?

This is not just a contest—it’s a chance to contribute to a national movement for digital safety. Your creative work could help someone recognize a scam, avoid a phishing attack, or report a cybercrime just in time.

By participating, you can:

  • Showcase your design talent on a national platform

  • Educate others and make a real-world impact

  • Get recognized by official government platforms

  • Become a cyber ambassador in your community
