Much like conflict, art can take many different forms. Whether it’s a sketch, a sculpture, a photo or a painting, there are no wrong answers!
This year's question for reflection is What does war mean to you?
During this 3 year cycle, we will be having Conversations on Conflict - during this first year, we want to hear from you - What does war mean to you? How does it make you feel, how does it impact you, what do you think about it? If you could say something to it, what would you say?
Rules
Entries must draw on the competition theme: What does war mean to you?
All artwork must have a title. We accept artwork in the form of sculptures and models; paintings and sketches; photography and digital mediums.
Artwork should consist of the contestant's own work and should not infringe any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.
Artwork may be produced in any medium such as water colours, pastels, charcoals, pencils, acrylic, crayons, paper cuttings, oil paints, photography or digital media.
When submitting your entry, we ask that you share a high quality photograph or scan of your artwork; we may request to see the original works of art following the initial shortlisting.
Categories
Entries are divided into the following four age categories*:
Age 9-11; age 11-14; age 14-16; and age 16-18.
There is no entry fee.
The competition deadline is 18th March 2022.
