The Know Your CAPFs Quiz 2026 is being organized by the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in collaboration with MyGov as part of the Independence Day Celebrations 2026. The quiz aims to increase public awareness about the history, responsibilities, achievements, and contributions of India's CAPFs in protecting the nation's sovereignty, internal security, and borders.

  • End Date: 20 July 2026, 11:59 PM
  • Number of Questions: 20
  • Time Limit: 600 seconds (10 minutes)
  • Eligibility: Open to all Indian citizens

Participants can access the quiz by logging in through their MyGov account or OTP.

What Does the Quiz Cover?

The quiz focuses on the seven Central Armed Police Forces of India:

  • Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
  • Border Security Force (BSF)
  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
  • Assam Rifles
  • Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
  • Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

Important Information

Participants selected for the Independence Day ceremony must bear their own expenses for travel, accommodation, meals, and other incidental costs. However, free travel on the Delhi Metro (to and from the event venue) will be provided upon presenting a valid e-invitation, in accordance with the applicable guidelines.

The Wingword Poetry Competition is not just a contest, but a gateway for aspiring poets to carve their place in the rich literary world of India. The competition aims to find the finest poems written by Indian poets, whether they are seasoned writers or first-time participants. For the winners, this competition offers much more than just recognition; it provides the resources and support needed to launch their literary careers.

What the First Prize Winner Gets

The first prize winner will be awarded a generous INR 50,000 in prize money, recognizing their exceptional poetic talent. But that’s not all—this prize also comes with a unique pro-bono book publishing deal. Wingword provides continuous support throughout the winner’s literary journey, helping them navigate the publishing world and gain exposure in the literary community.

The winner will have six to eight months to complete their poetry manuscript, which will then be edited by a renowned editor. Afterward, the manuscript will be published by Delhi Poetry Slam, one of the most respected names in the Indian poetry scene. As part of the support, the winner will be promoted on Wingword’s online platforms, with their work reviewed by critics and recommended to media publications for interviews and features.

The Prizes

The Wingword Poetry Competition offers exciting prizes for participants:

Rules and Guidelines

The Wingword Poetry Competition is open to all Indian nationals and persons of Indian origin who are 15 years and older. The competition welcomes poems written in English or Hindi under the main category. If your poem is written in any other Indian language, such as Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Assamese, Urdu, Punjabi, or Gujarati, you can submit it under the Regional Languages Category.

Some key rules to keep in mind:

  • Originality: Poems must be the original work of the participant. AI-generated poems are not accepted.

  • Length and Style: There are no restrictions on the length or style of poetry. Whether it’s free verse, sonnet, haiku, or another form, all are welcome.

  • Themes: Poems on any topic are encouraged. The judges are looking for poems that reflect original thought, creativity, and rhythmic qualities.

  • Entry Fees: The entry fee is INR 1000 for one poem, INR 2000 for three poems, INR 3000 for five poems, and INR 5000 for ten poems.

Scoring Criteria

Poems will be judged based on:

  • Originality of thought

  • Creativity in expression

  • Use of poetic form and technique

  • Rhythmic flow and impulse behind the poem

Complex vocabulary and intricate rhyme schemes are not required; what matters most is the emotion and message conveyed through the poem. Wingword seeks poems that resonate with sincerity, passion, and authenticity.

Rashtriya Kavya Utsav 2026

Poetry is not just meant to be read—it is meant to be felt, expressed, and shared. To celebrate the beauty of literature and inspire young readers across the country, the Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya (ReP) has launched Rashtriya Kavya Utsav 2026, a National Recitation Competition for students of Classes IX to XII.

Running from 1 June to 31 July 2026, this exciting nationwide competition provides students with an opportunity to showcase their recitation skills, creativity, confidence, and love for poetry while exploring the rich collection of poems available on the Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya platform.

Poetry nurtures imagination, strengthens language skills, and helps students express emotions with confidence. Through this initiative, students will:

The competition is open to students of Classes IX to XII from all schools across India.

Each participant may submit only one entry, choosing one poem from the list available under the Rashtriya Kavya Utsav section of the Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya platform.

Step 1: Register on Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya

  • Download the Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya App (Android/iOS) or visit the web portal.
  • Register and log in to your account.

Step 2: Select Your Poem

  • Open the Rashtriya Kavya Utsav banner on the platform.
  • Choose any one poem from the official competition collection.

Step 3: Record Your Recitation

Create a 60–90 second video following these guidelines:

  • ๐ŸŽค Clear and audible voice
  • ❌ No background music
  • ❌ No dubbing or voice enhancement
  • ❌ No AI-assisted narration
  • ✅ Original recitation by the participant only
