STEM + Cultural Performance: Where Science Meets Creativity
Can science be expressed through dance? Can technology become part of a theatrical performance? STEMcult, a unique competition under Kreativity League 2026, invites students to blend Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with the richness of India's cultural heritage.
Designed for students of Grades 6 to 12, STEMcult encourages participants to communicate scientific ideas through dance, theatre, music, storytelling, or technology-integrated performances, making STEM engaging, meaningful, and memorable.
🧪 What is STEMcult?
STEMcult is an innovative competition that combines performing arts and STEM education. Teams create an original cultural performance that explains scientific or technological concepts while entertaining and inspiring the audience.
The competition promotes creativity, collaboration, and effective communication by encouraging students to explore how science influences our traditions, society, and future.
👥 Who Can Participate?
- Grades: 6–12
- Team Size: Minimum 3 and maximum 12 students per team
🚀 Competition Journey
The competition takes place in four stages:
👨🏫 Mentoring
Receive guidance from expert mentors to develop your concept and performance.
🧠 Ideation
Brainstorm your storyline, integrate STEM concepts, and prepare your abstract.
🏆 Zonal Competition
Submit your performance video and compete at the zonal level.
🌟 National Finale
The top 20% of teams from each zone will qualify to present their performance live at the Grand Finale.

📋 What Do Participants Need to Do?
Each participating team must:
- ✔ Select one competition theme
- ✔ Submit a mandatory abstract during the Ideation Round explaining:
- Theme
- Concept
- Storyline
- STEM elements
- Intended message
- ✔ Submit an MP4 performance video for the Zonal Round
- ✔ Ensure the video duration does not exceed 8 minutes
- ✔ Present original and appropriate content that maintains a balanced focus on both cultural expression and STEM concepts
