The Universal Postal Union (UPU) has announced the theme for the 55th International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People (2026) , in partnership with the World Health Organization and UNESCO.

- Develop writing and expression skills
- Understand the role of postal services
- Build international friendship and empathy

- Age group: 9 to 15 years (inclusive)
- Participation is organized at the national level through postal services

- National-level selections conducted by each country
- Final entries submitted to UPU by 5 May 2026
