General Guidelines for Participants

1. All participants must carry a valid college ID card for verification.
2. Registration fees are non-refundable. Ensure accurate details before completing your registration.
3. Judges' decisions will be final and binding.
4. Any form of misconduct may result in disqualification.
5. On-the-spot registration penalty: ₹50 (in addition to regular fees).
6. Participants must arrive at Vimala College by 9:30 AM on their competition day. Latecomers may face penalties or disqualification.
7. Register before 30th November 2024 to avoid late fees and complications.
8. Events with fewer than four teams/participants will not have prizes, but appreciation will be awarded.

International Day of Sign Languages Quiz

he International Day of Sign Languages offers an opportunity to celebrate and protect the cultural diversity and linguistic identity of all deaf individuals as well as sign language users. Every year International Sign Language Day is celebrated world over on 23rd September 2023. This day advocates that Sign Language is for everyone and not restricted to deaf community.

Ministry of Education, in collaboration with MyGov, intends to host a quiz which aims:

1) To create awareness on the linguistic identity and cultural diversity of deaf people and sign language users.

2) To highlight the specific features of ISL and Deaf culture in India. 

Gratifications:

All participants will get an E-certificate.

Adoption Awareness Quiz Contest

Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) is a statutory body of the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India. It functions as the nodal body for the adoption of Indian children and is mandated to monitor and regulate in-country and inter-country adoptions under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Child) Act, 2015 (amended in 2021). CARA is designated as the Central Authority to deal with inter-country adoptions in accordance with the provisions of the Hague Convention on Inter-country Adoption, 1993, ratified by the Government of India in 2003.

CARA primarily deals with the adoption of orphan, abandoned and surrendered children through its associated /recognized adoption agencies. Every year, November is marked as Adoption Awareness Month. With an objective of promoting and making people aware of legal adoption and safe abandonment/surrendering. CARA is trying to reach a larger population. All states are encouraged to organize events in November to draw attention to adoption-related issues. This year the emphasis is on the adoption of children who are older children, children with special needs or children currently in foster care.

CARA, in collaboration with MyGov, is hosting an ‘Adoption Awareness Quiz Contest’ to sensitize people towards the safety & belongingness of children and make them aware of the legal process of adoption under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 (amended in 2021).

The Objectives of this quiz are:

1. To enhance participants’ awareness about the legal process of child adoption.

2. To promote the legal process of adoption that safeguards the rights of Abandoned, Surrendered and Orphaned children.

3. To foster an understanding of why we need to know about the legal process of child adoption and the safe surrendering of a child.

4. To motivate people about the adoption of older children/Special needs children/ children in foster care, because they too need to belong.

Gratifications:

1. The Top 15 Winners will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 3000/- each.

2. Certificate of Participation will be provided to all the participants.

SARDAR UNITY TRINITY QUIZ – SAMARTH BHARAT

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as the ‘Iron Man of India’, led to the peaceful integration of the princely Indian States into the Indian Union and the political unification of India.

A nationwide Quiz, “Sardar Unity Trinity Quiz” is being hosted on MyGov platform to celebrate the life, ideals, and accomplishments of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The aim of the quiz is to introduce the youth and citizens of India to the social values, ideologies, ethics, and morals associated with Sardar Patel, while highlighting the achievements and vision of the Government of India. The quiz is available in multiple regional languages including English and Hindi.

Modes

Online Mode:

The Online mode of the Sardar Unity Trinity Quiz is divided into 3 modules:

Module 1: Sardar Unity Trinity Quiz - Samarth Bharat (starting 31st October ’23 till 30th November ’23)

Module 2: Sardar Unity Trinity Quiz - Samriddh Bharat (starting 1st December ’23 till 31st December ‘23)

Module 3: Sardar Unity Trinity Quiz - Swabhimani Bharat (starting 1st January ’24 till 31st January ‘24)

103 winners from each of the above quiz modules across the country will be selected and awarded.

Offline Mode:

The Offline mode will start after the end of the 3 (three) Online modules.

Top selected participants from each State/ UT will join the offline mode.

It will be a physical quiz competition at a selected venue

Winners of the offline quiz will be awarded with separate prize money

Participants for the offline mode will be selected basis the below parameter:

Selected participants must have participated in all the 3 modules of the online quiz

Participants to participate in all the 3 online quizzes with their same user ID
