The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India, in collaboration with MyGov, has organized the Human Rights Quiz 2026 as part of NHRC's 33rd Foundation Day celebrations. The quiz aims to create awareness about human rights and the Protection of Human Rights Act (PHRA), 1993, while helping participants learn about the role, functions, powers and duties of the NHRC.

The quiz starts on 1 September 2026 at 12:00 PM and the last date for participation is 10 October 2026 at 11:45 PM.
๐ About the Quiz
The Human Rights Quiz 2026 gives participants an opportunity to test their knowledge of human rights and learn about important developments in the advancement of human rights at both the national and international levels.
The quiz focuses on important principles including:
- Equality
- Human dignity
- Justice
- Fundamental rights
- Human rights protection
- The Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993
- Functions and responsibilities of the National Human Rights Commission
There are 15 questions, and participants have 300 seconds (5 minutes) to complete the quiz.
๐ฅ Eligibility
The quiz is open to Indian citizens aged 14 years and above.
However, employees of NHRC and MyGov are not eligible to participate. Only one entry per participant is permitted, and multiple entries will not be accepted.
๐ Rewards
The quiz offers cash prizes to the top winners:
- ๐ฅ 1st Prize: ₹15,000
- ๐ฅ 2nd Prize: ₹10,000
- ๐ฅ 3rd Prize: ₹5,000
- ๐️ 7 Consolation Prizes: ₹2,000 each
The winners will be selected through a system-generated automated randomization process from eligible participants who achieve the highest score and submit their responses within the prescribed time.
