Water – Every Drop Matters
Welcome to the International Scratch Olympiad 2026, a global competition where young innovators can turn their creativity into code using Scratch, the block-based programming platform developed by MIT.
The competition gives students an opportunity to demonstrate their programming skills, problem-solving abilities and creativity through engaging Scratch projects.
Theme: Water – Every Drop Matters
Participants are invited to create Scratch projects highlighting the importance of water and the need to protect it.
Projects can explore:
Causes and impact of water pollution
Ways to conserve and protect water
Environmental awareness
Responsible use of water
Students can present their ideas through games, animations, stories or quizzes.
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to students aged 5 to 18 years.
Participants must compete individually. Team entries are not permitted.

Students should select the category corresponding to their age at the time of registration.
Registration and Submission
The Scratch project must be completed before registration, either at school or at home.
Participants need to upload their Scratch project link in the registration form.
Participation Fee: INR 500 per participant
Last Date to Register and Submit: 31 October 2026
