The International Abacus Olympiad 2026 provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate their mental calculation, numerical skills and abacus proficiency in an online international competition.

Duration: 15 minutes
Participation Fee: INR 500 per student

Registration
Individual Registration: Visit www.abacusolympiad.co.in and complete the registration form.
Bulk Registration: Schools or institutions can send an Excel file containing the student's name, category, level and exam date to contact@abacusolympiad.com.
Mock Test
A mock test will be available from 1 September 2026 to 18 October 2026 to help students familiarise themselves with the examination format.

Categories and Levels
Students must select their age category and an appropriate level based on their abacus knowledge and training.
Age Categories
Category A: 5–7 years
Category B: 8–10 years
Category C: 11–13 years
Level 0 – Abacus Beginners
Suitable for students who have recently joined an abacus class and have not completed 34 formulas.
Level 1 – Formula Proficiency
Suitable for students who have completed 34 formulas.
The question pattern includes 1-digit numbers in 5 rows, involving addition and subtraction.
Level 2 – Formula Proficiency
Suitable for students who have completed 34 formulas.
The question pattern includes 2-digit numbers in 3 rows, involving addition and subtraction.
Level 3 – Formula Proficiency
The examination includes:
Addition and subtraction
2-digit numbers in 4 rows
2-digit numbers in 3 rows
2-digit multiplied by 1-digit numbers
Level 4 – Formula Proficiency
The examination includes:
Addition and subtraction
Multiplication and division
2-digit numbers in 5 rows
2-digit numbers in 3 rows
1-digit numbers in 5 rows
2-digit multiplied by 1-digit numbers
2-digit divided by 1-digit numbers
3-digit divided by 1-digit numbers
