The International Student Essay Writing Competition 2026 provides young writers with an opportunity to express their ideas, creativity and perspectives on important topics that affect our world.
Students can showcase their writing skills and compete for exciting prizes and recognition at both individual and school levels.
Essay Topics
The competition has three categories, each with a specially selected topic:
Sub-Junior: How Children Can Make the World Better
Junior: If I Could Solve One Global Problem
Senior: Can Artificial Intelligence Become a Better Teacher Than Humans?
Prizes and Recognition
1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize in each category
Gold, Silver and Bronze Trophies with Certificates for category winners
5 Consolation Prize winners in each category will receive a Medal and Certificate
School Level Winner for schools with a minimum of 50 participants
Submission Guidelines
Essays must be written in English.
Entries must be typed; handwritten entries are not accepted.
Submit the essay as an MS Word or Google Doc file in DOC/DOCX format.
There are no specific requirements for font style, font size or line spacing.
The participant's name and essay title are not included in the word count.
