WILDLIFE POSTER DESIGNING CONTEST 2025

In celebration of Wildlife Week 2025, the Kerala Forest Department (KFD) invites creative minds to participate in the Wildlife Poster Designing Contest 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your artistic talent while promoting biodiversity conservation!

Contest Details

Eligibility:
Open to all Indian citizens, regardless of age. Employees and immediate family members of KFD are not eligible.

Contest Period:
Entries will be accepted till September 30, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. IST. Late entries will not be considered.

How to Participate:

  • Entry Fee: None.
  • Submission Method: Fill out the prescribed Registration Form and submit it along with your poster by post or in person to:

Theme of the Contest

Design a poster that effectively conveys the message of biodiversity conservation.


Entry Limits and Specifications

  • Entry Limit: Each participant can submit up to 2 entries.
  • Poster Specifications:
    • Size: A3 (landscape orientation)
    • Medium: Use of watercolors, poster colors, or acrylic colors is encouraged.

Prizes

  • 1st Prize: ₹7,500 + Certificate of Recognition
  • 2nd Prize: ₹4,500 + Certificate of Recognition
  • 3rd Prize: ₹2,500 + Certificate of Recognition
  • Additionally, 3 Certificates of Merit will be awarded as consolation prizes.

All prizes are subject to applicable taxes and regulations. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Grade 10-12: Address Mental Health Awareness. 

Prizes & Certificates

There will be 1 Winner in each Category, who will get a Trophy and a Certificate. First Runner Up and Second Runner Up who will get a Trophy and a Certificate.
10 Additional Inspiring and Outstanding Posters in each category will be given Medals and a Certificate.
Every participant will get a Certificate.

Pay the Registration Fee of 500 Rs
Upload 2 images, One of the poster alone and second one where child is holding poster in his/her hand as you can see in image above.
Images should be .jpg or .png file with other details in the submission form.
Only 1 Poster per participant
Language: Only English.

All India Poster Making Competition for School Children


In India, vector-borne diseases (VBDs) represent a substantial burden. VBDs remain a serious health challenge and account for significant increase in per capita health expenditures. Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya, Japanese encephalitis (JE), Kalaazar, and Lymphatic Filariasis are the primary VBDs impacting health and the economy in India.

National Center for Vector-Borne Disease Control is organizing an All India poster making competition for schools children to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The official journey of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” commenced on 12th March, 2021 and it is a 75 week countdown for the 75th anniversary of our Independence and will end on August 15, 2022.

Broadly the competition will have two components.

All India poster making competition for school children during 20 December 2021 to 20 January 2022 - best entries will be selected by a jury.
Tweeterthon on 31 January 2022: The top 16 posters will be tweeted through MoHFW’s tweeter handle along with messages/ posts pertaining to VBDs.

The Department is building a weather-ready nation, managing all aspects of weather and climate monitoring, forecasting & warning and continuously rendering one of the most fundamental and widely used services to the nation through many diversified activities.

To commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence and as a part of the ongoing ‘AzadiKaAmritMahotsav’, the India Meteorological Department is conducting an Open Poster Making Competition through MyGov Portal with an aim to raise awareness about various aspects of Weather & Climate Sciences and to explore the creative instinct of the masses.

ePoster competition for students on My vision of India 2030


Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad  under the  Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India is celebrating Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav – 75 years of Independence from 6th -12th September 2021.

Poster Making Contest for Road Safety - Preventing the loss of lives



A picture is worth a thousand words, but a picture that is crafted from the boundless depth of your creativity is worth making a change. 17 lives are lost every passing hour in India due to road mishaps and accidents; close to 150 wild animals die due to the carelessness of the one on the driving seat. A change in perspectives is much needed to make people understand the importance of the lines -"Prevention is better than cure." It's high time to ask the question - Who will make the change? If not us, then who? If not now, then when?

So pick up your art supplies, turn on your graphing tablets, and turn on the creative assets in your head to dive into making a significant change by creating a poster! In view of the forthcoming National Road Safety Month 2021, the Indian Road Safety Campaign and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is conducting a Poster Competition for people of all ages on the theme – "Road Safety - Preventing the loss of lives."

World NTD Day Global Story Telling Competition

Youth Combating NTDs is a global community made up of young people who are involved in the fight against Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). This youth-focused and led initiative is designed to mainstream the participation of young people within the NTD community across all it’s activities. Youth Combating NTDs is an initiative of Uniting to Combat NTDs and Future Africa Forum.

Calling young artists and communicators worldwide! Send your multimedia stories of resilience and progress against neglected tropical diseases in your country or region to win cash prizes of up to USD 2,500!

How to enter
Entries can be personal stories; explaining to someone who has never heard about these diseases what neglected tropical diseases are, why people should care about neglected tropical diseases; why you believe that countries and the global community need to take action to end neglected tropical diseases. The idea is to be compelling and to inspire action! All entries should be framed as a global rallying cry to beat NTDs!

Aruna Lal Scholarships and Competitions for Students - Physical Research Laboratory

Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 situation and in view of the safety of students, this year all the activities of will be conducted in ONLINE mode. National Science Day will be celebrated by Physical Research Laboratory on Sunday, 28th February 2021.

On this occasion, Aruna Lal Scholarships will be awarded to meritorious students selected based on an ONLINE screening test, followed by competitive events and personal interview via ONLINE mode. The Aruna Lal scholarship has been instituted by Late Prof. Devendra Lal, former Director of Physical Research Laboratory.
Application and Eligibility: Principals of higher secondary schools of Gujarat are requested to nominate students of 11th standard (Science stream). Please register the school using the School Registration menu and subsequently nominate your student(s). The schools having multiple mediums (English/ Gujarati/ Hindi) can register each medium separately. Each medium can nominate a maximum of five students.

Screening Test: A ONILNE screening test will be conducted on Saturday, 16th January 2021. The screening test will be held ONLY in ONLINE mode. The school must comply the terms and conditions of the ONLINE exam for their students.

Selection Procedure: Top 100 students in the merit list of the screening test will be selected for the subsequent round of competitive events to be via ONLINE mode, on Sunday, 28th February 2021.

Navrachana University is a Private University established under the Gujarat Private University Act, 2009.
