About vivo Ignite 2026
vivo Ignite: Technology & Innovation Initiative is a nationwide competition designed to nurture creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among school students.
The program inspires students to think beyond textbooks and create practical solutions for India’s future using technology.
Whether your idea focuses on:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Smart Cities
- Climate Action
- Community Development
- Sustainability
- Digital Inclusion

Eligibility Criteria
Students from Grade 8 to Grade 12 can participate.
Participation Modes:
Individual Participation
Students can submit ideas independently.
Group Participation
Students can form teams of:
- Minimum 1 member
- Maximum 3 members
Students from the same school can participate together even if they are from different classes.
Important Dates
Registration & Idea Submission Starts:
21 April 2026
Last Date to Apply:
30 June 2026
Students are encouraged to register early and submit polished, innovative ideas before the deadline.
Special Opportunity for Teachers
The 4th edition also celebrates educators who inspire innovation.
Teachers’ Innovation Grant
A grant of ₹50,000 will be awarded to teachers helping shape future innovators.
Students can nominate a teacher who guided and inspired them during idea submission.
