Asia’s largest business quiz competition, Quiz on the Beach (QoTB), is back with a bang for its monumental 20th edition! Organized by the prestigious T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, QoTB has become an iconic platform for showcasing intellect, strategy, and wit over the past two decades.
Last year, this intellectual extravaganza saw 2,500+ teams from 450+ institutions and top corporates battling it out for ultimate glory. Now, it’s your turn to be part of this incredible legacy.
What Makes QoTB Special?
The QoTB journey combines rigorous competition, a vibrant atmosphere, and an awe-inspiring venue. The Grand Finale takes place at the serene Malpe Beach, with the waves providing the perfect backdrop for a gripping intellectual showdown. And this year, the legendary quizmaster Mr. Giri “Pickbrain” Balasubramanium returns to challenge India’s brightest minds in an unforgettable battle of wits.
Event Highlights
- Eligibility: Open to undergraduates, postgraduates, corporate professionals, and students from professional associations like ICAI and ICSI.
- Team Composition:
- Teams of 2 participants (individual participation not allowed).
- Team members can belong to different institutes or organizations.
- Institutes and organizations can send multiple teams.
- No Entry Fee: Registration is completely free.
Quiz Format
Level 1: Unstop Round
- Online quiz hosted on the Unstop platform.
- Participants select one of 8 clusters: Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Manipal, Mumbai, and Online.
- Top 8 teams per cluster will advance to the City Qualifiers.
Level 2: City Qualifiers
- Conducted offline at key locations by TAPMI’s quiz committee.
- Winners from each cluster secure a spot in the Grand Finale.
Level 3: Grand Finale
- The top 8 teams will compete in the finale at Malpe Beach on 25th January 2025.
- Hosted by the renowned Mr. Giri Balasubramanium, the Grand Finale promises to be a dazzling display of intellect and strategy.
