The 20th International Contest of Art and Graphics invites young artists to showcase their creativity and artistic skills. Organized by Green Cross Belarus with support from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the Art Teachers’ Union, this event celebrates art inspired by the world around us.
Contest Themes
In My Homeland (Free Theme):
- Participants can freely interpret and depict their homeland through their artistic lens.
My Window (Additional Theme):
- Focus on the world as seen through a window.
- Explore how the view changes with seasons, time of day, or emotions.
- Includes an optional "My Window" Sketch Series: Three A4 sketches attached to a common base, capturing different perspectives or moments.
Suggested Techniques
While participants can choose their preferred style, the contest encourages trying these techniques:
Collage (Ages 10–18):
- Experiment with layering and combining different materials like paper, cardboard, and magazines.
- Collage offers a dynamic way to express life’s complexities and emotions.
Pencil Drawing:
- Create expressive artwork using lead or colored pencils.
- Explore shading, layering, and stroke methods to enhance creativity.
Participation Requirements
- Age Group: 5 to 18 years.
- Collage submissions are accepted from participants aged 10 and above.
- Artwork must be original, creative, and completed in 2024.
- Each piece should have a meaningful title to enhance its impact.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and all entries will be checked.
Artwork Dimensions: At the participant’s discretion (no framing required).

Evaluation and Results
- Entries will be reviewed in February 2025.
- Winners and diploma recipients will be announced.
- Awarded works will be displayed at the 20th International Exhibition of Art and Graphics in April 2025 and online at www.children-art.org.
