The myNachiketa Gita Scholars 2024 is an exciting initiative designed to introduce the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita to children in a fun and engaging way. This is the second edition of the Gita Scholars program, which offers children an opportunity to learn about the teachings of the Gita, earn certificates, and win exciting prizes! In this flagship initiative, children from Class 2 to Class 7 are invited to participate in a series of engaging rounds that will help them understand the deep wisdom of the Gita. The competition is designed to be both educational and fun, with easy-to-follow learning methods that encourage curiosity and promote intellectual growth.
The judges for this prestigious program include esteemed individuals such as Prof. Ankur Barua from the University of Cambridge and Mr. Rajesh Mittal, the Editor of Navbharat Times.
No Registration Fee, Free Learning Resources
The best part about the Gita Scholars initiative is that there is no fee to participate. Children can sign up for free and gain access to valuable learning materials, including a free Gita class and story videos. The Exciting Rounds
The competition will unfold in three rounds:
- Round 1: Students will write an essay, story, or poem on a given topic related to the Bhagavad Gita. The submissions will be on an A4 sheet.
- Round 2: Participants will attend a virtual Gita class, followed by a Q&A session at the end of January 2025.
- Round 3: Shortlisted students will take part in a group discussion in the presence of the esteemed judges.
Recognition and Prizes
All participants will receive a certificate for their efforts, and there are exciting prizes up for grabs! Cash prizes and books will be awarded to the top winners. A total of 200 books will be distributed, and the most outstanding participants will earn prestigious recognition as Gita Scholars.
The winners will be announced on February 2nd, 2025, marking the culmination of this incredible journey into the wisdom of the Gita.
