The Tata Crucible Business Quiz, a flagship knowledge initiative of the Tata Group, is back with its 21st edition — continuing its legacy as India’s largest and most prestigious business quiz for young minds.

Launched 21 years ago, the quiz was designed to ignite curiosity, sharpen intellect, and celebrate the spirit of business knowledge and innovation. Over the years, Tata Crucible has become a national institution, inspiring students across disciplines to explore ideas that drive the world of business.

The Tata Crucible Business Quiz offers an exhilarating opportunity for students from diverse fields to test their knowledge in business, economics, and current affairs. It brings together thousands of participants from institutions across India, competing through multiple rounds that challenge analytical ability, awareness, and mental agility.

The quiz is conducted in stages — from online prelims to cluster and zonal finals — culminating in the National Grand Finale, where the brightest quizzers compete for top honors.

Eligibility & Rules

  • Open to full-time students of any undergraduate or postgraduate program across India.

  • Not open to junior college students.

  • Entry is free — no registration fee.

  • Individual participation only (no team entries).

  • Any number of participants from the same institution can register.

Competition Structure

The Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2025 is conducted in multiple rounds:

1. Online Prelims

Level 1 Prelims:

  • Each participant can attempt this round once.

  • The quiz consists of 20 questions with a 30-second timer per question.

  • Participants can take the quiz on any day between 1st September and 10th November 2025.

  • Stable internet connectivity is required.

  • Participation Certificates will be issued to all who attempt this round.

Level 2 Prelims:

  • The top 300 scorers (including 150 top female scorers) from each of the 24 clusters will qualify.

  • Conducted over two days.

  • Final participant numbers will determine the exact shortlist.

2. Cluster Finals

  • India is divided into 24 clusters for this edition.

  • The top 8 finalists from each cluster will compete on stage in the Cluster Final.

  • The winner and runner-up from each cluster will move on to the Zonal Finals.

  • All Cluster Finalists will receive a Certificate of Appreciation.

  • The cluster finals will be held on-ground in select cities (dates to be announced).

3. Zonal Finals

  • Each Zonal Final features the winner and runner-up from the Cluster Finals within that zone.

  • Winners from the eight zonal rounds qualify for the National Final.

  • The Zonal Finals will be conducted on the same day and at the same location as the Cluster Finals in each of the eight cities.

4. National Final

  • Eight zonal champions will compete in the National Grand Finale.

  • Dates and venue will be announced soon.

  • All National Finalists will receive a Certificate of Merit.
