Prof. James V. George Memorial Inter-School Commerce Quiz 2025

The Prof. James V. George Memorial Inter-School Commerce Quiz 2025 is organized by the Department of Commerce, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, to honour the memory of our beloved colleague, Prof. James V. George, whose vision and passion for teaching inspired generations of students. The event aims to nurture curiosity, teamwork, and excellence among higher-secondary commerce students.

Venue: College Auditorium, Main Campus, Sacred Heart College, Thevara

The competition is open to Plus Two Commerce students from schools across the state. All participants will receive certificates of merit and participation.

Prizes:

• First Prize: ₹10,000

• Second Prize: ₹6,000

• Third Prize: ₹4,000

Last Date for Registration: 18 November 2025

Rules of the Quiz

Each team must consist of 2 members.

Participants of the team should be from the SAME SCHOOL.

Any number of teams are allowed from a school.

Only Higher Secondary school students belonging to the Commerce discipline can participate in the quiz.

The quiz will be conducted in 2 rounds: Preliminary Round and Grand Finale.

Top performing 4 teams from the Preliminary Round will be selected for the Grand Finale.

The entire quiz will be conducted in an audio-visual format.

Participants are not allowed to use any electronic gadgets (smartphones, smartwatches, etc.) during the rounds.

Teams must maintain discipline and decorum throughout the event.

The Quizmaster’s decision will be final.

All students must produce their School ID card at the registration desk for the smooth completion of the registration process.
