ThinkStartup and MEPSC, in association with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), proudly present the School Youth Ideathon 2025 — India’s largest innovation and entrepreneurship competition for school students.
Over the past four editions, the Ideathon has become a national movement, igniting creativity and entrepreneurial thinking among young learners. In 2024, the competition saw phenomenal participation, with over 3 lakh students from more than 10,000 schools contributing innovative ideas. Prizes worth ₹25 lakhs were awarded to recognize exceptional young innovators across the country.
Now, School Youth Ideathon 2025 (sYI25) returns — bigger, bolder, and even more impactful, inspiring a new generation to think creatively and build solutions for the future.
Who Can Participate
The School Youth Ideathon 2025 is open to all school students across India in two categories:
Junior Category: Classes 4 to 7
Senior Category: Classes 8 to 12
Every student, regardless of background or board affiliation, is encouraged to take part and present their innovative ideas.
Registration is open to all schools — Central, State, and International. Schools are encouraged to join this movement and nurture an innovation mindset in their students.
The sYI25 Ideathon invites all K–12 students to submit their innovative ideas individually or in teams of up to five members from the same school. Participants can explore any of the key themes listed below and propose impactful, realistic, and creative solutions.
