Asian Paints Alchemy 2025 is back—bigger, bolder, and more inspiring than ever. A pioneering global platform in the Coatings and Material Science domain, Alchemy brings together brilliant minds from industry, academia, and research to shape the future of innovation. This initiative by Asian Paints aims to fuel scientific creativity, promote collaboration, and nurture the next generation of leaders in material and surface science.
What is Asian Paints Alchemy?
Asian Paints Alchemy is a flagship global initiative designed to bridge the gap between research, academia, and industry in the coatings and material science ecosystem. It provides budding scientists, researchers, and professionals with an opportunity to work on real-world challenges, guided by leading experts from Asian Paints’ Research & Technology (R&T) Centre.
Participants will get the chance to interact with top scientists, present their innovative ideas, and compete for prestigious rewards including PhD sponsorships, internships, and cash prizes.
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to candidates from India and abroad who meet the following eligibility criteria:

B.Tech or M.Tech in Paint or Polymer Technology

M.Sc. in Chemistry
-
PhD students currently pursuing research in Chemistry
-
Working professionals in the coatings industry
Structure of the Competition
1. Registration
Participants can register individually or in teams of two by 31st December 2025, 11:59 PM IST.
Ensure all information is accurate and eligibility criteria are met before submission.
2. Alchemy Virtual Conclave and Case Study Launch
Participants will attend an interactive virtual conclave featuring lectures and discussions with eminent scientists and leaders from Asian Paints.
The case study problem statements will be launched during this session, followed by a Q&A round to clarify participant queries.
3. Submission Phase – I

Participants/teams must submit a 3–10 slide PPT summary of their proposed solution.

The first slide should include participant/team names; subsequent slides should detail the analysis and deliverables.

Any supporting files should be embedded in the PPT.

Naming Convention: CampusName_YourName or OrganizationName_YourName.
4. Submission Phase – II
Shortlisted teams will refine their proposals based on feedback from Asian Paints mentors.

Submissions must include a 10-slide PPT summarizing the improved solution.

The first slide should carry the team name, followed by the detailed analysis and proposed deliverables.

Supporting materials (e.g., Excel sheets) must be embedded.
5. Alchemy Grand Finale
Finalist teams will present their case before an esteemed jury panel at the Grand Finale.
Rewards and Opportunities
Asian Paints Alchemy 2025 offers participants the chance to win prestigious academic and professional rewards:

PhD Sponsorships: Up to USD 6,000 or INR 5 lakhs (academic fees covered for current PhD students, T&C apply).

Cash Rewards: Up to INR 1 lakh or USD 1,200.

Internships: Exclusive opportunities at the Asian Paints R&T Centre.
Finalists will be selected from all categories—B.Tech, M.Tech/M.Sc., PhD, and working professionals.
Campus Ambassador Program
Students who wish to go a step further can join as Campus Ambassadors for Asian Paints Alchemy 2025. Ambassadors will lead awareness drives, promote registrations, and represent Alchemy on their campuses.
