As part of the Republic Day Celebrations 2026, the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens, especially students and youth, to participate in an inspiring essay competition celebrating the spirit and legacy of Vande Mataram.
Let your words celebrate India’s cultural richness, honour its historic journey, and echo the spirit of freedom that binds us all. Share your perspective, your passion, and your vision for a united India inspired by the message of Vande Mataram.
Participation Guidelines-
1. Write an essay on the theme “स्वतंत्रता का मंत्र – वंदे मातरम्”
2. Word limit: 500–600 words
3. Entries accepted in Hindi or English
Gratifications-
1. Top 3 Winners: ₹10,000/- each
2. 27 Consolation Prizes: ₹5,000/- each
3. Top 200 participants along with one companion (spouse/guardian/relative etc.) would be invited for witnessing the Republic Day Parade, 2026 at Kartavya Path, New Delhi.
