Provide solutions for affordable housing, intelligent building solutions and property-tech solutions.

Agritech:
Provide solutions to address issues around soil testing methodologies, e-marketplace, price forecast, yield estimation and other issues where technology can be the enabler.


Event Format

Round 1: Application


Apply online at https://www.f6s.com/thewhizdominnovationchallenge/apply with the executive summary and other details of your Start-up or B-Plan. After clicking on the link, log in with Facebook & LinkedIn to continue to apply.


Round 2: Shortlisting


Shortlisted Teams will be given a 10 minute slot to present their idea online (through live meetings) to a jury. The presentation should cover aspects of the problem, solution, monetization and team for your ideas.

Each team will be provided 10 days’ time to prepare their presentation (in predefined presentation format). They will be allotted 15 minutes to present on the Whizdom Live shortlisting platform.

Round 3: Final Pitching


Based on the B-plan, creativity, feasibility, raised funds and other factors, the top 10 finalists will be invited to pitch their ideas in Delhi.

Selection Criteria


● Start-ups should be solving genuine problem

● Proposed solution should be scalable

● Start-up must have tested the product /proposed solution (either as Prototype/MVP)

● Clear Business model with Unit Economics (if possible)

● The selection and rewards given are subject to the jury decision based on the quality of applications

Eligibility Criteria


Entrepreneurs with highly innovative ideas and business models that solve for a global/local problem, making a large-scale socio-economic impact, are invited to apply.

● The event is open for teams comprising of Business school students, undergraduate students, corporate professionals, as well as other independent individuals (employed or unemployed).

● A team can have a maximum of 4 members. Members can be from any organization. Members may or may not be from the same organization.

Rules
Maximum of 4 members per team.

● The decisions of the organizers of the contest will be final and binding on all the participants.

● The organizers reserve the right to any changes to the rules and regulations.

● The format and structure of events is subject to change before the actual beginning of the event.

Prizes


● Three month Incubation

● Free one-month incubation support in Thailand – all expenses to be covered by MQDC including tickets and accommodation.

● This will be followed by 2-months free incubation support in India at the Whizdom incubation centre in GK II, Delhi.

● Each start-up can send up to 2 members i.e. a total of 5*2= 10 persons.

● Access to international companies for presenting your idea/product.

● Preferred access to our Investment partners for fundraising.

Ungli Dikha Competition - Video Contest

Global Vikas Trust (GVT), an NGO is working on an aggressive non political campaign called UNGLI DIKHA for increasing informed voter participation for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. It is headed by social activist Mayank Gandhi (www.mayankgandhi.in) and team.

The Ungli Dikha competition (UDC) is to unleash crowd creativity to generate viral films that will be propagated on social media, mostly on Whatsapp. These movies will encourage more people to vote.

The films can be in either of these three categories - Humor, Music and Dance.

TCS EnQuode 2019 : The TCS Flagship Quality Engineering Contest for students

EnQuode is a contest by the Quality Engineering & Transformation unit of TCS

EnQuode is an individual contest for engineering students from YOP 2020 & 2021. It is open to students across India. The contest is based on concepts of Quality Engineering, with 3 rounds. Round 1 - is an MCQ, Round 2 - Case Study and Finals.

EnQuode will focus on Analytical, Programming, Automation, Agile/DevOps, and Digital skills to build Quality Engineers aligned to market needs. The goal is to enable quality engineering in software by leveraging digital and new age technologies in an automation first mode of operation.
