Wildlife Week Celebrations Debate Competition

In connection with the Wildlife Week Celebrations 2025 the department of Museums and Zoos invite every student, staff member, and parent to be a part of this week-long celebration. Whether you're debating de-extinction, painting Kerala’s birds, or simply cheering from the sidelines — your presence matters.

The Debate Competition invites students from Grades 9 to 12 to engage in a thought-provoking discussion on the potential and pitfalls of de-extinction. Participants will research, analyze, and articulate arguments around the scientific, ethical, and environmental dimensions of bringing extinct species back to life. This event promotes critical thinking, public speaking, and scientific literacy.
