Earth Photo - Photography competition and exhibition



Earth Photo is an innovative competition and exhibition developed jointly by Forestry England and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) which reflects the organisations’ common interest in enabling a better understanding of the world around us through our complementary disciplines of the Environment and Geography. Earth Photo will focus on photographs or films which describe one of the following subjects; People, Place, Nature, Changing Forests and A Climate of Change.

EXHIBITION
The Earth Photo exhibition will be open at the Royal Geographical Society, London between 17 June and 26 August 2022 and within the forests of Forestry England.

PRIZES
First Prize: A special prize will be awarded to one outstanding photographer.

Winners will also be selected for each of the categories and awarded £250 each:

People
Place
Nature
Changing Forests
A Climate of Change
A prize will also be awarded for a Short Film.

The overall Earth Photo 2022 Winner and all the other prize winners will be announced during the exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society, London. One of the world’s finest collections of photography, artwork and mapping which records over 500 years of travel, people, place and geographical discovery from the 1480s to the present day.

HOW TO ENTER
The competition is open to all professional and amateur, national and international photographers of all ages. Entrants are invited to submit up to 10 still photographs or films. All entrants must ensure that the quality of their entries meets the competition’s criteria as stated in the Rules and Guidelines. 

ENTRY FEE
An Entry Fee of £15 will be charged to each entrant for up to 10 images.

Deadline for entries: Tuesday 3 May 2022, 5pm (BST)

ANIMALS ART CONTEST


Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents the third Animals online art contest for the month of March 2022. Contest is open to all artists worldwide over 18 years of age. We invite artists and photographers to submit their best artworks related to the world of animals. A variety of interpretations of Animals theme can be submitted (representative, abstract, conceptional). All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. Winning artwork (Best of Show) will be on the poster of the show. The deadline to submit entries is the March 17, 2022.

Art Show Rules

This Terms of Use Agreement sets the standards of use of the website at www.greycubegallery.com. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before applying. Each month Show will have different theme and it is extremely important to follow specific theme. By using the Grey Cube Gallery website “You” agree to these terms and conditions:

 
- Artworks containing pornographic or satanic content will not be taken into consideration

- Contest is open to all artists worldwide over 18 years of age

- Your entry must be related to the specific theme

- Entry fees are non-refundable

- You may submit 2 images per entry fee. There is no limit to the number of entries per artist

- Images should be orginal work created by the artist

- Only the artwork should be visible, clear and in focus.

- Image size should be up to 2.0 MB in JPG format

Awards

- All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate.

- Best of Show, first, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article  about the artist and  their work.

- Winning artwork (Best of Show) will be on the poster of the show.

- Depending on the number and quality of all submissions received, Merit awards and Honorable Mention awards may also be presented.

- All accepted works will be displayed with the artist name, title of work, and a link back to their website, or email address if they do not have a website.

- All Accepted artists will receive extensive online publicity and promotion on our website.


Entry Fee

- The application fee is $16 for the 2 images, $30 for the 4 images, $42 for the 6 images, and $50 for up to 8 images.

- You may submit more than once
