As part of Republic Day Celebrations 2026, the Ministry of Defence, in coordination with MyGov, will conduct a series of online quiz competitions to foster national spirit and strengthen patriotic values among citizens. The initiative aims to generate Republic Day fervor across the country, with a special focus on engaging youth and school students.
The quiz series will cover themes celebrating India’s history, achievements, and aspirations. Four quizzes will be conducted on the following topics:

The evolution of Vande Mataram – 150 years of patriotic inspiration

India’s space achievements

India’s achievements in sports

Atmanirbhar Bharat: Mission to achieve self-reliance
Through these topics, the Ministry seeks to highlight India’s cultural legacy, technological progress, sporting excellence, and national commitment toward self-reliance.
Salient Features
The online quizzes will be open to participants across the country and will follow a standard format. Key features include:

Each quiz will be available in both Hindi and English, ensuring wider accessibility.

The duration of each quiz will be five minutes (300 seconds), during which participants can attempt up to twenty questions.

Winners will be selected based on their combined performance across all four quizzes. All participants will be allowed to attempt every quiz, and there will be no elimination rounds.

The top three winners will receive a cash prize of ₹10,000 each.

A total of twenty-seven consolation prizes worth ₹5,000 each will be awarded.

All participants will receive a digital certificate of participation generated through MyGov.in.
