The ICAI Commerce Olympiad 2026 is here to offer an exciting opportunity for students from Class VIII to Graduation to showcase their knowledge, skills, and aptitude in commerce. Organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), this Olympiad aims to inspire excellence in commerce education while providing valuable exposure to competitive challenges.

About ICAI

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, to regulate and develop the Chartered Accountancy profession in India. Operating under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the ICAI is the largest professional body of Chartered Accountants in the world and plays a vital role in supporting the Indian economy.

Objective

  • Provide students with exposure to the competitive world and help them hone their learning skills.

  • Gauge the skills, aptitude, abilities, and knowledge of participants.

  • Identify and encourage talent towards commerce education.

  • Motivate meritorious students with financial aid and inspire them to achieve excellence.

Levels of the Olympiad

  • Level 1: Students of Class VIII

  • Level 2: Students of Class IX

  • Level 3: Students of Class X

  • Level 4: Students of Class XI

  • Level 5: Students of Class XII

  • Level 6: Students of Graduation

Fee

  • No registration fee for participation.

Test Pattern

  • The Olympiad consists of an objective-type test with a duration of 60 minutes.

  • Participants will answer 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

  • The questions are divided equally among four subjects, with 25 questions per subject.

  • Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.
