National Financial Literacy Quiz 2026 by NISM

The National Financial Literacy Quiz (NFLQ) 2026 is a prestigious nationwide competition designed to assess and enhance the financial literacy of undergraduate and postgraduate students across India. The quiz focuses on financial awareness, securities markets, and responsible financial decision-making.

NFLQ 2026 offers students an opportunity to compete at multiple levels, culminating in the National Grand Finale, where the best teams from across the country will compete for national recognition.

Quiz Structure

NFLQ 2026 is conducted in four progressive rounds:

1. Online Round

2. College Round

3. Regional Rounds

4. National Grand Finale

Participants must qualify at each stage to progress to the next round.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to students who have completed 10+2 / higher secondary education

• Must be currently enrolled in a recognized college, university, or institution in India

• Separate quizzes will be conducted for UG and PG cohorts

• Participants must be 25 years or below as on 1 December 2025

• Students enrolled in part-time or distance education programmes are not eligible

• Final-year UG/PG students of the same academic year are eligible

  • Such participants will remain eligible for all subsequent rounds even after completing their course, provided registration was done while enrolled as students

Registration and Participation

• Participation is completely free of charge

• Any request for payment or fees is fraudulent and should be reported to the organizers

• Participants must provide accurate personal and academic details at the time of registration, including:

  • Individual name

  • Gender

  • Date of birth (as per Class X certificate)

  • Email ID and mobile number

  • Student ID number

    • If an ID card is not issued, the number from a bonafide certificate or an authorization/validation letter issued by the institution must be provided

• Information submitted will be verified for teams qualifying for subsequent rounds

  • Incorrect or incomplete details will lead to disqualification

General Rules and Conduct

• Participants must maintain integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct throughout the competition

• Use of unfair means will result in immediate disqualification

• Organizers reserve the right to verify submitted information at any stage

• Participants agree to receive official communications and may be photographed or recorded for official use

• NISM reserves the right to amend the rules, modify the quiz structure, or cancel the quiz if required

• All decisions taken by the organizers are final and binding

• Participants are advised to regularly check the official NFLQ website for updates, detailed rules, and FAQs

• By participating, students agree to abide by the rules and regulations prescribed by NISM
