The Indian Knowledge Systems Division (IKS) under the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with MyGov, is hosting a monthly national-level quiz to promote public awareness and engagement with India’s rich and diverse traditional knowledge heritage.
This initiative is open to all Indian citizens and is designed to foster curiosity, learning, and pride in India’s scientific, cultural, and philosophical traditions.
The Indian Knowledge Systems Monthly Quiz series aims to create a continuous learning ecosystem for citizens across the country. Each month, the quiz focuses on one theme from the IKS knowledge domains, ensuring systematic and meaningful coverage of India’s vast traditional knowledge systems throughout the year.
Through an interactive and enjoyable quiz format, participants are encouraged to explore how India’s knowledge traditions have contributed to civilisation, society, and sustainable ways of living.

The theme for the current month is “Knowing Bharat.”
This edition of the quiz focuses on the traditional geography and civilizational history of Bharat, highlighting unique aspects that have played a crucial role in shaping India’s civilizational evolution.
