Ramanujan Maths Quiz (RMQ) - Register Now

The Ramanujan Maths Quiz (RMQ) is an online mathematics assessment designed to strengthen conceptual understanding and analytical skills among students from Class 1 to Class 11. The quiz follows a level-based structure aligned with the student’s current class of study.

Quiz Levels

RMQ consists of 11 levels, namely:

• RMQ Level 1 to RMQ Level 11

Each student must register for the level corresponding to their current class.
Example:
If a student is studying in Class 5 (Academic Year 2024–25), they must register for RMQ Level 5.

Eligibility

• Students from Class 1 to Class 11 are eligible

• All students of Class 1 to Class 11 can participate in the Ramanujan Maths Quiz Week

• Participation is open to students studying in India and abroad

Registration

• Students can register:

  • Through their school, or

  • Individually

• Registration must be done for the level matching the student’s current class

Test Format

• Mode: Online

• Question type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

• Number of tests:

  • Level 1: 3 tests

  • Levels 2 to 11: 5 tests per level

• Each test:

  • 25 questions

  • 45 minutes duration

• Marking scheme:

  • 2 marks for each correct answer

  • No negative marking

Syllabus

• The syllabus for RMQ Levels 1 to 11 is prescribed separately and should be referred to while preparing for the quiz.

Medals

• Students scoring 80% or above in all tests of a level will be awarded a
  Medal for Excellent Performance for that level.

Feedback and Certification

• After completing each level, students will receive:

  • A detailed performance analysis report

  • A certificate

Fees

• Indian students: Rs. 400/-

• Students residing outside India: USD 14/-

Mode of Conduct

• The Ramanujan Maths Quiz will be conducted online.

Students are encouraged to participate and assess their mathematical skills through this structured and progressive quiz programme.
