CSIR Jigyasa Vigyan Mahotsav 2022


India is Celebrating 75 years of Independence as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav across the country. As a part of this, Amrit Mahotsav Science Showcase: Roadmap to 2047 celebration, is being conducted by the Ministry of Science & technology. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology, has organised a National Level Scientific Creativity Competition “Jigyasa Vigyan Mahotsav 2022”.

This competition is to provide an opportunity to school children to exhibit their creative skills and also develop their scientific knowledge and win attractive prizes!!

The competition presents contemporary science and technology areas consisting of the following broad themes:
● Energy
● Health
● Artificial Intelligence
● Climate Change
● Water Conservation
● Disaster Mitigation
● Agrotechnology

The competition allows School Students to highlight their creativity skills by:
● identifying issues/ knowledge gaps
● challenges faced
● creating awareness
● identifying solutions
● futuristic visions etc

The students are encouraged to exhibit their creativity on any topic under the broad themes and choose a creative format comprising either Comics/ Videos/ Infographics/ Science Fiction/ Apps/ Animation to convey their ideas/ solutions. The students may choose any one creative for single submission. On choosing more than one creative format, the student may submit each separately.

The students will be evaluated for their creativity; innovative ideas; storytelling ability; message conveyed; overall aesthetics; out of box thinking; usability or applicability in the case of apps/ videos/ animations. Students have the opportunity to compete at the National level and win Prizes. The top content developed would also be showcased on CSIR Jigyasa Virtual Lab platform for global outreach.

SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR OUTSTANDING SPORTSPERSONS FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2022-23

The objective of this scheme is to award Airports Authority of India (AAI) Sports Scholarships to promising young players with a view to enhancing sporting standards in AAI as also encouraging young talent.

Eligibility
The Scholarship will be available to the sports persons between the age group of 14 to 24 years, as on 31.03.2022.

The International Visual Arts Contest ​​"The music and dances of my people" is organized by the Municipality of Montana, Bulgaria. It is an event within the International Festival of Wind Orchestras, dedicated to the famous Bulgarian composer Diko Iliev. The visual arts contest is held every even year. Each separate edition of the contest has a different subject. The thematic focus is defined by the organizers as an additional subtitle to the already popular title of the contest ​​"The music and dances of my people".
