Model G-20 Initiative
A Model G-20 initiative is to engage the students from all 50K+ degree colleges/universities/technical Institutions in a dialogue and hence, provide exposure and insights into the nuances of multilateral discourse on global challenges and pressing policy issues of the current times. Under this initiative, the young students will be provided a unique opportunity to model the functioning and proceedings of G20 meetings.

Stage-1: Essay competition

Instructions
Candidates pursuing any graduation or post graduation are eligible to apply (should have valid student ID card at the time of submission).
One applicant can submit only one essay (multiple entries will lead to disqualification).
Word limit : maximum 3000 characters.
Last date : 14 April 2023
Submission language : English
Submission will be evaluated in 6 different zonal areas of the country i.e., Zone 1 (North), Zone 2 (East), Zone 3 (West), Zone 4 (South), Zone 5 (Central), Zone 6 (North East)

Poster Making Competition on The Three Pillars of GeM

Government e Marketplace (GeM) is a digital platform that allows Central Ministries, State Governments, Public Sector Enterprises and other Government entities to procure goods and services from sellers all over the country. GeM was launched in 2016 under the visionary leadership of our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to redefine procurement, bring efficiency, transparency and inclusivity to the procurement landscape. GeM in collaboration with MyGov is organizing a Poster Making Competition on “The Three Pillars of GeM: Efficient, Transparent and Inclusive” to bring out creative expression and to gauge the knowledge and awareness of the audience of GeM.

Technical Parameters:
• The poster is to be submitted online in JPEG Format only.
• The poster must be made on the A3 size (11.7 * 16.5 inches) sheet with margins (0.5 inches) drawn with black pen/marker.
• Participants can either showcase all THREE pillars or any of the ONE pillars of GeM in their posters.

Gratifications:
The announcement of awardees will be done with gift vouchers as per the following details:
1st Prize: Rs. 25,000/-
2nd Prize: Rs. 20,000/-

Name the four newly-born cheetah cubs at Kuno

Highlighting a historical occasion for India’s cheetah reintroduction project, Siyaya, one of the translocated Namibian cheetahs, gave birth to four cubs in the Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh.


They are the first cheetah cubs born in India in more than 70 years, as cheetahs were declared extinct in the country in 1952.

To mark this special occasion, MyGov invites all Saathis to suggest names for these newly born cubs.

Poem Writing Competition on Oral Health

World Oral Health Day celebrated on 20th March every year it empowers people with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to secure good oral health. World Oral Health Day celebrated to educate people on the importance of adopting a good oral hygiene routine and mitigating risk factors such as unhealthy eating and tobacco use among other contributors to poor oral health.


The theme "Be Proud of Your Mouth" was chosen to encourage change by emphasizing the significance of oral health since it conveys an overall simple but strong message. Adopting this theme is intended to inspire people to cherish and care for their mouths, improving their overall health and well-being.

On the occasion of World Oral Health Day, the National Oral Health Program, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) in collaboration with the Centre for Dental Education and Research AIIMS, New Delhi, and MyGov is organizing and hosting an online ‘Poem Writing Competition on Oral Health’.

1. The poem should convey the importance of taking care of oral health.
2. Children under the age group of 8 to 16 years are eligible to participate in the competition.
3. Multiple entries by a child are not allowed.
4. Poem should contain a minimum of 10 lines and can be both in Hindi and English.

The selected top entries will be awarded Cash Prizes and will be featured on the website and mobile application on oral health by MoHFW - eDantSeva

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens for an essay writing contest for all age groups to encourage the citizens to share their ideas about how India's first Regional Rail will bring a change in their life.


This campaign intends to mobilize people to act by raising awareness about RRTS and how it will influence future public transit systems in the country, connect people and places, and enhance the quality of life.

Put on your creative cap and showcase your thoughts and knowledge. Essays will be judged based on creativity. The essays should meet the word limit of 1000 words and should be in a pdf format.

Create a Poster on Impact of RRTS on our Daily Life

The “Impact of RRTS on our Daily Life” campaign by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) focuses on learning how citizens perceive RRTS and how an individual’s life will change once India’s first RRTS is operational. Using environment-friendly transit modes is good for future generations and paves the way towards a sustainable future. With India's first Regional Rail, NCRTC aims to revolutionize how people adopt public transit systems and transition towards zero-emission travel.


This campaign aims to drive action to educate people about what RRTS is and how it will shape the future of Public Transit Systems in India, bring people and places closer, and improve the quality of life.

The participants may hand draw/sketch the poster on A3 or A4 pages or create digitally designed posters through computer software.

The attachment size must not exceed 2MB.

India’s First Regional Rail Quiz

‘India’s first Regional Rail Quiz’ is a quiz competition for Indian citizens to create awareness on some of the key aspects of RAPIDX – India’s first Regional Rail.

 NCRTC – a joint venture company of Govt of India and the States of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and U.P under the administrative control of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), is mandated for implementing RRTS project across NCR, ensuring balanced and sustainable urban development through better connectivity and access. This is in line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s visionary GatiShakti National Master Plan.


 The Quiz will cover themes ranging from what the country’s first Regional Rail will offer for the citizens, the larger purpose this project will serve, the latest technologies being used in this project, which areas it is going to serve, etc.

Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens.

Eat Right Millets ‘Shree Anna’ Quiz

With the aim to raise awareness about the nutritional and health benefits of millets, and to promote their cultivation and consumption, the United Nations General Assembly, at the behest of the Government of India, declared the year 2023 as the International Year of Millets. The PM of India, Shri Narendra Modi has also shared his vision to make IYM 2023 a ‘People’s Movement’ alongside positioning India as the ‘Global Hub for Millets’.


This FSSAI has launched a quiz competition on millets titled “Eat Right Millets Quiz” to mark the celebration of the International Year of Millets, thereby increasing awareness about millets and their health benefits.

Swaraj Quiz: Episode 35

“Swaraj: Bharat ke Swatantra Sangram ki Samagra Gatha” is a 75-episodic mega serial that brings to life the stories of the unsung heroes who sacrificed and fought for India over 450 years ago but remain unheard and unknown to this day despite their sacrifices.

Against the context of key events and an ever – advancing colonizing force “Swaraj” relives the stories of unsung heroes who fought for the idea of “Swa” – swabhoomi, swabhasha, swadharm, swadheenta. The telecast timing of “Swaraj” will be from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM and the “Swaraj Quiz” will be aired on DD National on every Sunday after the telecast of an episode of “Swaraj”. At the end of each episode of “Swaraj”, 3 questions will be asked based on that particular episode and 4 options will be presented to choose from for each question, respectively.

General Quiz Competition (Juniors) -E-cell IIIT Pune

E-Cell IIIT Pune  is back with their flagship event, E-Summit’23. 
E-Summit’23 Jr [General Quiz Competition (Juniors)] is an exclusive platform for young minds to broaden their knowledge and showcase their skills. As a part of this event, an Olympiad exam will be conducted in two rounds to assess the student’s knowledge and skills. The test emphasizes subjects including English, General Knowledge, Computer Science, and Logical Reasoning. E-Summit’23 Jr will take place in two rounds. In the first round, we will pick the top performers from all the participants. In the second round, we will invite them to the Campus of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune, for an offline competition. 



Round 1:

The first round of E-Summit’23 Jr will be held offline at your respective schools. If the corresponding school can’t host round 1, it will take place at the campus of IIIT Pune on the 8th and 9th of April.
It consists of 50 Multiple Choice Questions, examining the participants’ knowledge in various fields, such as Technology, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, and more.
The top performers among all the participants will be shortlisted for the second round.

Round 2:

The finale of E-Summit’23 Jr will be held at the campus of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune, on the 15th-16th of April.
More details about the final round will be announced soon to the finalists.

Rules:

Team size: Individual
This event is open to students pursuing their VIII, IX, and X standards. Anyone interested can attend.
The decisions of the organizers and the panel of judges will be final and binding on all the participants.
The terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. The same will be communicated to the participating teams.

The Quiz will consist of Multiple Choice Questions with a single correct answer.
