It is very easy for you to understand the value of a Tree for the cost of its wood, but only a Natural Capitalist can understand how valuable that same Tree is for oxygen, shelter and habitat. This ‘Tree’ is our natural capital.
With this in mind, Saevus and YES BANK, supported by the Central Board of Secondary Education, is proud to present the Natural Capital Olympiad. This Olympiad is about science, geography, general knowledge, mental ability and a whole lot of green fun and challenge.

NHFDC Scholarships for the Disabled for degree and post graduate level professional and technical courses

National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC), for and on behalf of Department of Disability Affairs, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, invites applications from Students with Disabilities for award of Scholarship under the following two Scholarship Schemes :-
1. Scholarship Scheme (Trust Fund) :
  •  Under this scheme, 2500 Scholarships will be awarded to eligible students with disabilities for degree and post graduate level professional and technical courses from recognized institutions in India.
  • 30% scholarships will be reserved for girls, which will be transferable to male students in case of nonavailability of female candidates.
  • Applicants may apply at any time in academic year for scholarship under this scheme. Scholarships will be awarded quarterly basis for the applications received in preceding quarter Under this scheme, an advance copy of application should also be submitted online (www.nhfdc.nic.in) by the candidate.
  • Reimbursement of Non-Refundable fees restricted to the limit of fee of similar courses in Government/ Government –aided institutions. Maintenance allowance will be paid to the students for 10 months @ Rs.
  • 2500/ per month for Professional Graduate Courses and Rs.3000/- per month for Professional Post- Graduate Courses in one academic year.
  • Books/Stationery allowance will be paid to students pursuing Professional Graduate Courses @ Rs.6,000/ per annum and Rs.10,000/- per annum for pursuing Professional Post-Graduate Courses.
  •  Differently-abled students in addition will be provided financial assistance for purchase of aids & appliances (only once during life time).
  • Monthly income of the beneficiary /parent or guardian should not be more than Rs.25,000/- (Rs. 3.00 Lakh p.a.) from all sources. Family income includes income of parent/guardian.
  • A Scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship/ stipend for pursuing the course.
2. Scholarship Scheme (National Fund):
  •  Under this scheme, 500 Scholarships will be awarded to eligible students with disabilities for pursuing higher academic/professional or technical qualification.
  •  Applicant has to apply online (www.nhfdc.nic.in) for scholarship from 01.07.2014 to 15.10.2014 and scholarship shall be awarded once in a academic year under this scheme.
  •  Scholarship of Rs.1000/-p.m. for hostellers and Rs.700/-p.m. for day scholars studying in professional courses at graduation and above level, and Rs.700/-p.m. for hostellers and Rs.400/-p.m. for day scholars
  • pursuing Diploma/Certificate level professional courses. Course fee reimbursed upto ceiling of Rs.10,000/- per year.
  •  Financial assistance can be given for computer with editing software for blind/deaf graduate and post graduate students pursuing professional courses and for support access software for cerebral palsy
  • students.
  •  Monthly income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian should not be more than Rs.15,000/ - (Rs. 1.80 Lakh p.a.) from all sources. Family income includes income of parent/guardian.
  •  Scholarship holder under this scheme will not concurrently hold any other scholarship/stipend

NASA Space Settlement Contest 2015

This annual contest, co-sponsored by NASA Ames and the National Space Society (NSS) is for all students up to 12th grade (18 years old) from anywhere in the world. Individuals, small teams of two to five, and large teams of six or more are judged separately. Entries are also grouped by age/grade of the oldest contestant for judging. The age groups are 7th and under, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. The grand prize is awarded to the best entry regardless of contestant age. Students develop space settlement designs and related materials. These are sent to NASA Ames for judgement. Submissions must be received by March 1.
 Contest deadline, prizes and certificates:
•All submissions must be received by March 1, 2015.
•A NASA certificate will be sent via the post office to all participants unless plagiarism is detected.
•The best submission, regardless of category, wins the grand prize, consisting of the space colony submission being placed on the NASA Ames World Wide Web site.
•The National Space Society (NSS) invites all 2015 contest participants to attend the NSS 34rd annual  International Space Development Conference (ISDC)  in Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 20-24, 2015. Every year, hundreds of contestants attend, along with their parents, teachers, siblings and friends. Special activities for contestants are planned, including: ◦The single highest scoring team or individual attending will receive the NSS Bruce M. Clark, Jr. Memorial Space Settlement Award for $5,000. If a team wins, the sum will be evenly divided amongst them.
◦The highest ranking winners attending will be invited to give oral presentations as time is available.
◦To the extent space is available, all contestants who attend will be invited to display a poster of their work.
◦Special sessions are arranged for contestants, teachers, parents, etc.

5th National Painting Competition on Water Conservation - 2014

5th National Painting Competition on Water Conservation - 2014 for School Children of Class 6-8
 The Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation has decided to conduct the 5th National Painting competition on Water Conservation. The painting
competition aims to make the children aware about need of conserving this precious resource and at the same time would involve their parents in this noble cause. The painting competition will be held among the students of 6th, 7th and 8th standard in three stages, namely, School, State and National Level. The State level winners and National
level winners will be awarded cash prizes.
School level Competition
1. The school level competition for the students of 6th, 7th, and 8th standards has been initiated in all the States/UT's from September, 2014.
2. School Principals are requested to organize painting competition of 2 hours duration at their schools.
3. Drawing materials for the school level would be provided by the schools/ students and no cost in this regard would be borne by the Ministry of Water Resources, River
Development & Ganga Rejuvenation /Central Ground Water Board.
4. Paintings may be made preferably on A4/ A3 size paper, though there is no restriction on type/size of paper, paints, crayons, water colour, etc.
5. The theme for the painting competition is : 'SAVE WATER, LIVE BETTER'
6. All paintings must contain the following details at the back of the drawing sheet -
Name of student, class, section, school full school address, father/mothers name, telephone number of school and parents, signature of Principal in the following format.
Father's/Mother's Name, Tel/Mobile No. of Parents, Standard, Roll No, E-maillD of Student (if any), School Name & address, School Located in Urban/Rural, School Tel No /Mob. No./Email Address,

7. Paintings not signed by the school Principal or sent directly by student/parent to the Nodal Officer will not be accepted.
8. The Regional Director/ Head of Office/Officer- in-charge/ of the Regional Offices/Sate Unit Offices of CGWB are Nodal Officers for the painting competition for the State/UT's
under their jurisdiction.
9. Three (3) best paintings are to be selected from each school and the same are to be forwarded to the concerned Nodal Officer of CGWB. The selection of the three best
paintings from each school is to be done by the respective school authorities.
10. The School Level Painting Competition is to be concluded by 5th November, 2014.
11. All participants of school level competition will be given a participation certificate signed by Regional Director, CGWB and Principal of respective school.
12. Each school will submit list of participants to the concerned State Nodal Officer.
13. Use of collage/patchwork will not be permitted in the paintings.
State level Painting competition
1. The State Level Painting competition is proposed to be conducted on 26th November, 2014.
2. The best 50 paintings will be selected by a Board of Jury comprising five members including Nodal Officer from amongst the entries received from the schools.
3. The state level competition will be conducted with 50 students whose paintings are selected as best 50 paintings from amongst the entries of the school level painting
competition.
4. Theme for the State Level Painting Competition will be disclosed at the venue.
5. Participants, along with two parents/guardians for the state level competition would be paid to and fro fare by ordinary ~us/sleeper class rail fare/ from the place of residence to the place of Competition.
6. An incidental charge of Rs. 1000/- would be paid to each of the 50 participants for attending the State level competition.
7. All drawing materials and associated requirements would be provided by CGWB. Items may include a kit containing paints, ruler, brushes, pencils, erasers, etc.
8. Drawing sheets for the painting will be provided by the Regional Offices. The sheets would be of 380 mm x 510 mm size (approx. 15/1 x 20/1).
9. Students are allowed to use their own painting materials if preferred. Use of collage/patchwork will not be permitted in the paintings.
10. All 50 students must submit three latest passport size coloured photographs, preferably along with soft copy.
11. All students should bring identity proof or letter from respective school Principal.
12. The cash prize award is Rs. 10,000/- for First Prize, Rs .. 8000/- for Second Prize and Rs.5000/- for·Third Prize, Ten Consolation Prizes (@ Rs. 1000/-) would also be awarded.
13. Winners will also be awarded certificate of merit.
14. All state level participants will be given participation certificate for the state level competition.
15. Students who have won 1 ,2 & 3 prizes at State/UT level competition last years (ie.2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013) are not eligible for participation. The consolation prize winners of State level Painting competition (2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013) may participate
this year, but they would be considered for prizes only if they win 1 ,2 or 3· prize at the State level.
National level Painting Competition:
1. The National Level Competition is likely to be conducted in January 2015 at New DeihL It will be confirmed at a later date
2. The winners of first, second and third prizes from each of the States/UT's (Le. three from each State/UT) would be called to New Delhi for the competition.
3. Tentative venue of the competition would be at ICAR, PUSA, New Delhi.
4. The National Competition would have one (1) first prize (Rs. 1,00,000), four (4) second prizes (@ Rs. 50,000), eight (8) third prizes (@ Rs 25,OOO). All other participants would
be given consolation prizes'(@ Rs. 5,OOO}.
5. All students would be paid to and fro rail fare by AC III Tier/Bus, along with two accompanying parents/guardians on production of proof of journey undertaken in the entitled class. Participants from A&N Islands and Lakshadweep would be reimbursed economy class air fare from Port Blair/Agati to Delhi and back on production of proof of journey undertaken by them and as per actuals. The reimbursement would be made for participant and accompanying two parents/ guardians on production of proof of journey undertaken by the entitled class.
6. Arrangements for stay (food and lodging) at Delhi will be made by the participants themselves. A lump sum amount of Rs. 3000/- would be paid to each participant of the National competition for food, lodging, transport and incidental charges.
7. The participants would provide a photocopy of passbook having details of their bank account along with one cancelled cheque for e-transfer of prize money and other
incidentals as applicable.
8. Students with their parents/ guardians would report at the competition venue on the date on their own. Transport from station/ airport/ bus-stand would not be provided by the organizers.
9. All participants are to report at the competition venue at least one hour before the start of competition for completing the registration formalities.
10. All drawing materials and associated requirements would be provided by CGWB. Items may include a kit containing paints, ruler, brushes, pencils, erasers, etc.
11. Students are allowed to use their own painting materials if preferred. Use of collage/patchwork will not be permitted in the paintings.
12. Drawing sheets for the painting will be provided by the organizers. The drawing sheets would be of 380 mm x 510 mm size (approx. 15" x 20").

CBSE Expression Series on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya

CBSE is committed to the holistic development of students and strongly feels that students of today
must be made aware of the selfless and valiant services of the women and men who have served the
nation. The present day India has been possible only because several women and men of yester
years worked incessantly towards nation-building.

In continuation of its earlier efforts, the CBSE now announces an Expression Series on Pandit
Deendayal Upadhyaya, a renowned thinker. His life and contribution can be a source of
inspiration for the present generation. This Expression Series will open from 19th September 2014
to 22nd September 2014. The participants can submit their entries from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. each day. Winners will be announced on 25th of September 2014, which is the birthday of
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

Salient features of this Expression Series are as follows:-

  • Entries can be submitted both in online and offline mode. Entries will be divided in three categories, i.e. Classes I-V, Classes VI-VIII and Classes IX-XII. 
  • Entries can be submitted individually, in a pair of two students, or as a part of a school team with not more than five students in the team. 
  • Multiple mediums, like essay, poem, one act plays (script not to exceed 2000 words), drawings, paintings, sketches, or a mix of various mediums (that convey the message of the topic) can be used
  • Differently abled/Visually impaired students can also use the audio/ video mode. 
  • Entries can be submitted in any of the 22 scheduled languages or in English.
  • Different Topics for the different categories and applicable word limit (in case the expression is in the form of writing) are given in Annexure I.
  • From each category of entries, 30 best entries (10 individual entries, 10 pair entries and 05 team entries and 05 for differently abled students) will be chosen.
  • Plagiarised entries will be rejected without any notice. There will also be a telephonic/face to face interaction to ascertain the originality of the entries submitted.
  • The criteria for the evaluation will include: originality of expression, presentation, use of multiple media and relevance to the topic. Students need to refrain from directly taking material from the resources available. On the other hand, they should research on the topic and write in their own words.
  • The selected entries will receive a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- each along with a Certificate of Merit. All the participants will receive an online certificate provided they give accurate details.

‘A scheme for identifying Students with Talent and Aptitude for Research in Science (STARS)’

- Call for applications from Students for pursuing higher education in Basic/Natural Science

The KSCSTE under its STARS (Students with Talent and Aptitude for Research in Science) programme invites applications from eligible candidates for the award of Prathibha Scholarship.

The scheme implemented by the Women Scientist Division of KSCSTE aims to identify and nurture students who have qualified Higher Secondary Board Examination meritoriously from Kerala to avail scholarship for pursuing B.Sc. / Integrated M.Sc. courses in Basic / Natural science anywhere in India.

The total number of Scholarships available in an academic year is 100. Scholarships are awarded as per ranking based on the marks secured in higher secondary examination for all science subjects. The applicants should have secured admission for Degree course in the current academic year. Those who are availing any other scholarship are not eligible to apply.

To ensure adequate opportunity for girl students, 50% of the total number of scholarships are set-aside for them. The scheme provides 10% reservation for SC/ST candidates.

Duration of scholarship is for 3 years of the Degree course. The scholarship could be continued for their M.Sc. course or 4th year of their Integrated M.Sc. course subject to the condition that the student scores a minimum aggregate mark of 75% or equivalent grade for the Degree course or first three years of Integrated M.Sc. course.

(For ITI) - Bonafide students (full time / regular) in 1st year of 2 years ITI course in 2014-15 are eligible to apply. 

2. Engineering & MBBS : Bonafide students (full time/regular) in the first year of Engineering/MBBS degree courses in 2014-15 (minimum 4 years course duration) are eligible to apply. 

3. MBA : Bonafide students (full time/regular) in the first year of 2 years post graduate course in Business Administration/Management in 2014-15 are eligible to apply. 

The marks obtained in the qualifying examination making the students eligible to seek admission in the respective first year of these courses will be considered for selection. Minimum eligibility percentage of marks required from the students of various categories in qualifying examination is given in the table. 

Percentage of marks obtained in qualifying examination shall be calculated on total aggregate marks of all subjects. In case of Graduates, percentage of marks obtained shall be calculated on total aggregate of marks of all subjects for all the academic years of graduation. 

Normalization of marks for all courses shall be done by using percentile method so as to rationalize the variation of marks provided by different Boards and Universities/Institutions. 

INCOME : Gross Joint income of the family of the student from all sources during financial year 2012-13 should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) per annum. However, in case of tie, preference will be given to the students whose family income (gross joint income from all sources in 2012-13) is upto Rs. 60,000/- (Rs. Sixty thousand only). Income certificate should be got issued by appropriate civil authorities of the State/UTs/Central Government only, details of which have been specified in General Instructions.Any other Affidavit submitted in support of Income Proof shall not be accepted. 

AGE LIMIT:Minimum 15 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.07.2014. Persons born between 01.07.1984 and 01.07.1999 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. However, relaxation in the upper age limit by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) is permissible 

RESERVATION:49.5% scholarships are reserved i.e. SC(15%), ST(7.5%) & OBC (27%).Only those listed in the Central Govt’s OBC list will be considered against OBC quota. OBC candidates of State list but not covered by Central Govt’s OBC list may apply as general candidates. 25% of scholarships for girl students and 10% of scholarships for persons with Disabilities (PwDs) (minimum 40% disability as per definition under Disabilities Act 1952) are reserved in each category/sub-category. The above reservations shall be maintained on overall All India Basis. 

APPLICATION:Students meeting above eligibility criteria can apply online by logging on to http://ioclscholar.sifyitest.com or at http://www.iocl.com/Aboutus/Scholarships.aspx. This site will be kept open to receive online applications from 12.07.2014 to 30.09.2014. Once the online application is submitted by an applicant, the system will generate a unique Registration Number. The applicants should take a print out of the same for future reference/correspondence till the Scholarships are awarded. 

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS:All the applicants are required to submit the documents along with a print out of online application form duly signed by the applicants for scrutiny/verification. The detail of such forms/documents to be submitted is given in the above website.

LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP

SCHEME OF ‘LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP’ FOR STUDENTS     BELONGING TO THE ECONOMICALLY WEAKER  FAMILIES FOR PURSUING HIGHER STUDIES.
1.      OBJECTIVE
The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker families so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education and thus enhance their employability.
2.      SCOPE
The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private college/university. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes at Graduation level.
3.      ELIGIBILITY
Students who have passed Class XII exam or its equivalent in the Academic Year 2013-14 and are interested to pursue higher education in the field of

i) Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses.

ii) Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges/Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).

For i) above Candidates who have passed Class XII exam or equivalent in the Academic year 2013-14 with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade and annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed ` 1,00,000/- per annum.

For ii) above The basic educational qualification is relaxed to Class X or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the Academic year 2013-14 subject to income ceiling of parents/guardians.
4. DURATION
Scholarship shall be provided for the entire duration of the course subject to the candidate fulfilling the requisite eligibility conditions for renewal.
5. RATE OF SCHOLARSHIP

An amount of `10,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected candidate which is payable in ten monthly installments of ` 1,000/- each. The Scholarship amount will be transferred to Bank Account of the selected scholar through NEFT. Therefore in case the candidate is selected for scholarship, the Bank Account details and IFSC code are compulsory.
6. CONDITIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP
(i)   Scholarship shall be awarded to the students who have secured not less than  60% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed `1,00,000/- per annum.

(ii)  Selection of LIC Scholar will be on the basis of merit and family background such as percentage of marks in class 12th /10th and annual income of the family. Eligible Students having the lowest income shall be given preference in the ascending order.
(iii) The candidate should secure more than 55%marks in professional streams and 50% marks in graduation courses in Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent grade in the previous final examination of the course for which scholarship is awarded, failing which the scholarship will be discontinued.

(iv)  Scholarship shall not be given to more than one student in a family.

(v) The students should be regular in attendance for which the yardstick shall be decided by the competent authority of the school/college/university.

(vi)  Income certificate should be on self-certification basis by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper for self-employed parents and from employer for employed parents supported by documents (from revenue department) such as land held in the name of parents.

(vii) If a student violates any terms and conditions of the scholarship, the scholarship may be suspended or cancelled.

(viii)  If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement/certificates, his/her scholarship shall be cancelled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered, at the discretion of the concerned Divisional Administration of LIC.|
(ix) LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation will lay down the detailed procedure for processing and sanctioning of scholarships to eligible students.

(x)  The scheme shall be evaluated at regular intervals by the LICGJF.

(xi) The regulations can be changed at any time at the discretion of the Board of Trustees of LICGJF.
7. MODE OF APPLYING

ONLY ONLINE APPLICATIONS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED THROUGH THE LINK ON THE HOME PAGE. Once online application is submitted, the candidate will get acknowledgement at the email ID provided by him in his online application. Further correspondence will be made by the Divisional Office which is mentioned in the acknowledgement mail. The candidate should ensure to submit his correct email id and contact number for communication at a later date, if required. Bank Account details and IFSC code are not compulsory at this stage.

National Talent Search Examination NTSE 2014-15 Kerala State

NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION (NTSE)

Eligibility for applying for the State Level NTSE 2014 - 15
Only those pupils who are studying in Class X during 2014 - 15 on any Government/Aided/Recognised schools/Kendriya Vidhyalaya/Navodaya Vidhyalaya in Kerala are eligible to apply for the State Level NTSE. Pupils who have secured not less than 55% for all non-language subjects in the qualifying examination of class IX of 2013-14 will be admitted.


Procedure of the Test
The test will be conducted in Two Parts of 90 minutes duration each.
Part I - Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) will comprise of 90 objective type questions from Social sciences, Science subjects and Mathematics.
Part II consists of Mental Ability Test - MAT & Language Comprehensive Test. There will be 50 Questions in Mental Ability Test and 40 question in Language comprehension Test (40 questions in Malayalam Language and 40 questions in English Language). Candidates can choose either Malayalam or English for
Language comprehension Test.
Marks scored for language comprehension test will not be considered for ranking.
But candidates must score a minimum for 40% marks in Language Comprehensive Test.
All questions in Part II are also of objective type

Portions included for the State Level Test under Part I are as follows.
a. 9th & 10th Standard portions of Kerala State syllabus for the current academic  year.
b. 9 th & 10th standard portions of CBSE syllabus for the current academic year.
c. Certain portions studied on lower classes which are essential for the proper understanding of the subjects. The question will be of higher order involving application and reasoning.
The candidate should answer Part I and then Part II after an interval of one hour.
Candidate can choose English, Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada as medium of Examination for SAT & MAT.
Date of Examinations is 02.11.2014.
(i) Part I: SAT I consists of 90 objective type questions in Social sciences, Science subjects & Mathematics.

13th Student Blogging Challenge

About the challenge
The aim of the student blogging challenge is to connect student bloggers with a global audience while supporting teachers with their classroom blogging.
It runs twice yearly, starting in March and September, and guides the participants through blogging and commenting over 10 weeks.
The Weekly Tasks
Each week participants are given weekly tasks to increase their skills. There is a wide range of ways you can participate in the Student Blogging Challenge series:
Class blog – teachers and students can participate as a class. Teachers, or students, can publish their weekly tasks on their class blog or students can participate through leaving comments on posts.
Student blogs – individual students can participate in the challenge by publishing posts on their own student blogs and leaving comments of other students.
You can start the challenge at any time and teachers can customize the tasks to meet the needs of their class.
The Student Blogging Challenge runs twice yearly.  A new Challenge starts March and September, each year.
It is made up of a series of 10 weekly tasks all designed to improve blogging and commenting skills while connecting students with a global audience.
The Challenge is open to both class blogs and to individual student bloggers from all over the world and of all ages – blogs don’t need to be hosted by Edublogs to participate!*
Participants can complete as many of the tasks as they like and in any order.
If you are an educator, you can also register to mentor a small group of students.
Registration forms are published mid February and Mid August ready for the challenges in March and September

The Quest All India Intelligence Quiz 2014

The Quest’ is designed for classes Nursery to 12th. I.Q OLYMPIAD is entirely based on the objective type questions i.e. multiple choices, Match the following, Fill in the blacks & True/False format. Nursery to class 2nd paper is designed in a play way method. Questions will be based on the course contents covered in previous classes. There will be different subjects in one paper and paper will be divided into different sections.
Student’s participating in the INTELLIGENCE QUIZ will have to go through a written test, carrying different sections of duration 90 minutes. INTELLIGENCE QUIZ is entirely based on objective type questions i.e. multiple choice, match the following, true and false ect. For nursery to class 2nd students paper is designed in a picture format. 5th Annual Frogs Are Green Kids Art Contest

5th Annual Frogs Are Green Kids Art Contest will be officially open on September 2, 2014.
 
Kids creativity can be expresses through crayon, watercolor, pastel, colored pencil, clay, 3D sculptures, dioramas, murals, mosaics, and mixed media.
Your artwork can be about frogs, amphibians, rainforests, climate change, pollution, etc… and how you (or all of us) can help them.

Awardswill also be given in Best 3D, Most Unusual, Best Environmental categories in addition to the awards given to 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place and honorable mention for each age group.

If you are in a country where you cannot view Flickr, you can email your digital image to Frogs Are Green along with the child’s name, age and country, and we will add the image to the group  (The Flickr group will be created shortly before the contest opens on Sept. 2, 2014.)
 
For the contest, each entry MUST INCLUDE the child’s Name, Age, and Country (and a caption if you like) or your submission cannot be judged.
