The Aligarh Muslim University will hold the annual All India Essay Writing Competition for university and college students
Topic: " Sir Syed and Cultural Pluralism"
The essay writing competition in any of the three languages - English, Hindi and Urdu
Eligibility
open for bonafide students of all Indian universities and colleges.
Students up to Class XII are not eligible to participate in the competitions.
Prizes
There are three cash prizes in each language, viz., First Prize-Rs. 25,000/-. Second-Rs. 15.000/- &
Third-Rs. I 0,000/-.
Guidelines
Essays must be original and not published in any book, magazine, newspaper or online. The essay will summarily be rejected if found plagiarized.
Essays, containing around 3000 (three thousand) words and printed in double space on one side of A4 size paper, should be submitted along with the Bonafide certificate from the College/University and duly forwa rded by the Head of the Institution. Handwritten essay will not be considered for the competition.
All participants are required to submit bank account details, includ ing Account Number, Account holder's name, Name of the bank/branch. IFSC code and PAN number for the purpose of disbursement of prize money.
The prizes will be announced on October 17, 2022.
The hard copy of the essay must reach by post at Public Relations Office, AMU, Aligarh-202001 and the soft copy by e-mail at amuessaycompetition@gmail.com latest by 01 October 2022. Kindly mention "Essay Writing Competition-2022 (English or Hindi or Urdu)" on envelop or in the subject while sending the essay through e-mail.
