In order to ensure community mobilisation and bolster people’s participation, every year, the month of September is celebrated as RASHTRIYA POSHAN MAAH (National nutrition Month) across the India. This month highlights the importance and role of the right nutrition for the human body. The purpose of celebrating the Poshan month is to take the message of nutrition to every nook and corner of the country (especially grass root level) and to focus on complimentary food, treatment, and prevention from infections in children. Month of September is celebrated as RASHTRIYA POSHAN MAAH (National nutrition Month) across the country.
Who can Compete:
Any student who is enrolled in any educational institute
Age Groups: Entries may be sent in 3 age groups. 1) 14-18 2) 19-23, 3) 24-28
Selection Process :
Stage 1: Registration and Submission of Entries: Write up of (not more than 500 words) on the Nutritional benefits of a particular traditional Food ( Should contain a detailed information on the Traditional Food- Name, region/ area where it is eaten, Recipe, Method of preparation)
Stage 2: Presentations by selected Students / Entries. Shortlisted entries will have to make 10 minutes presentation through Webinar in September Month (Jury consisting of eminent Food Professional/Scientists/ Nutritionists
Stage 3: Prize Distribution, World Food Day, 2022 Selected participants will be presented awards on 16 Oct 2022, during World Food Day Celebrations.

28 August 2022 Winners of stage 1
Complete September Month : Presentations by winners on nutritional benefits of different foods. ( 4.30-5 PM each day – Except Saturday , Sunday)
16 October 2022 World Food Day- Award function for Winners ( Hybrid Mode)

First Prize (one) : Rs.10,000/-
Second Prize (one): Rs.7,000/-
Third Prize (one) : Rs.5,000/-
Consolation (ten) : Rs.500 Each
