TERRE Olympiad (Environment Quiz)

TERRE Olympiad is an initiative of TERRE Policy Centre to make our youth empathetic towards environment. This will encourage and inspire the youth to get closer to our natural surroundings and to become future ambassadors of our environment.
TERRE Olympiad aims to test students’ intelligence, knowledge and awareness in Environment, Forest, Biodiversity, Wildlife and Climate change.

This quiz competition will provide a unique and exciting platform for students to be more aware, as they are preparing themselves to become afuture managers. It also helps bring the future generation closer to nature.

Eligibility
Students participating in the competition should be affiliated, registered or recognized by the State or Central education boards or any International board school or college.

There will be three categories
Sapling Category(Students of class 5th to 9th)
Plant Category (Students of class 10th to 12th)
Tree Category(Undergraduate Student)

Terre Olympiad Exam Special Rules

Plant a Tree

A mandatory Plant Sapling needs to be planted in your surrounding areas (at least one sapling per student).

Earn More Marks

An activity related to 'Environment Protection' shall be conducted along with the attempt at the Quiz exam

Refer and Win

'Referral Code' section will be provided for the individual candidates to enthusiastically refer their friends and related people to participate

Guidelines

• There are no fees or charges to participate in this exam it is completely free of cost.
• Students can participate in this exam through mobile phones as well.
• The exam will be run under 3 categories as Sapling Category (5th to 9th standard student), Plant Category (10th to 12th Standard students), Tree Category (Undergraduate Students).

Prizes
Prizes to be awarded to both School and college winners in all two categories i.e.

Sapling and Plant category will be awarded electronic gadgets like laptop, tab and hard disk, Scientific Calculator, pen drive, etc and top 5 winners under Tree category will receive the internship opportunity in top MNC or a field trip to Indian Sanctuary or National Park.

Consolation prize - for top 1000 runner-up

The top three schools or colleges in each category will be awarded a rolling trophy and certificate. All the top winners will be awarded at National platform..
