TOPIC: India’s Freedom Struggle – A Lesson in Management
Rules and Guidelines of the Essay Competition
• The essay should be limited to a maximum of 450-500 words.
• The essay should be typed on an A4 size electronic page and should be in English language.
• The Essay should be preceded by a cover page which should include Name of the Participant, Contact Number Address, E-mail ID, Name of the College/University with address and email id.
• Submission of essay should be in PDF format only.
• The competition is open to one entry per participant.
• Google form will be sent on the email id mentioned on the cover page upon acceptance of the essay.
• Declaration which would be a part of the Google form needs to be submitted by the participant upon acceptance of the essay.
• The competition is open for students studying in degree colleges or pursuing post-graduation.
• Only original essays will be considered for the competition. Previously published essays are therefore excluded. Any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification of the essay.
• Font size shall be Times New Roman 12 with 1.15 space & Margins of 2.54 cm on top, bottom and both sides
• Following criteria will be used in assessing the essay: Content,Originality, Clarity and Structure.
• Judge’s decision will be final regarding best essay.
• Essays to be sent to essay_centenary@ptvaim.com latest by 20th January, 2021.
• Three best essays will be rewarded (First prize - ₹ 5000, Second prize - ₹ 3000, Third prize - ₹ 2000)
• The winners will be declared in the third week of February 2021.
• Names of the winners will be published on PTVAIM’s website in the first week of March 2021. Separate intimation will also be sent to each of the winner.
• Copyright in all contributions accepted will remain with the authors, and they are free to re-use their own material.
