Considering the social-distancing norms mandated due to the current pandemic, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission's decided to have a Year-long Celebration with a few On-line Competitions periodically. To begin with, an On-line Video-based Quiz Competition based on 2 video films: ‘Swami Vivekananda & The Parliament of Religions, 1893’ and ‘Sister Nivedita Remembered’ on one of Swamiji’s foremost disciples who came to India and spent her entire life in the service of our country.
The students are required to watch the videos beforehand and appear for an On-line Test on the
prescribed date and time. The details are as follows.
The competition will be held for students in 4 Groups:
a. Senior Girls (Std VIII-X)
b. Senior Boys (Std VIII-X)
c. Junior Girls (Std V-VII)
d. Junior Boys (Std V-VII)
The number of participants per school Is Not Restricted. Any Number of Students can
Participate!!!
There is No Registration Fee. There is No Prior Registration.
There will be separate tests for Seniors and Juniors on different days:
a. Quiz for Senior Girls and Boys will be on Thurs 21st Jan 2021 from 4:30 PM to 5:05 PM
b. Quiz for Junior Girls and Boys will be on Wed. 27th Jan 2021 from 4:30 PM to 5:05 PM
This will be an Online test/ Questionnaire. The question paper will be activated only at the
scheduled date & time
The questions will be based on the 2 films. Note that the films cannot be downloaded/
uploaded as they contain copyright content. The 2 films can be watched on the following

The Quiz will mostly include Objective-type Questions like Multiple-Choice, True/ False,
Fill in the Blanks & Match the Following.
There will be one/ two Descriptive Questions
which will be evaluated only if there is a tie with other participants which needs to be broken.
Junior Group will be given information-based questions.
Senior Group will be asked information-based as well as thoughtful and reflective questions.

The link to the quizzes will be active for the exact duration of time. Participants will not be
able to SUBMIT their test/ questionnaire after 5:05 PM.
If there are Multiple Submissions by the same Participant, then the first one will be
considered.
Access to the Videos/ films will be disabled at 4 PM on both dates.

+919987204004. No other queries will be replied on this number
Participants who (a) complete the questionnaire and Submit the Form the fastest AND (b) get the highest number of questions right, will be considered as winners. If there is a tie with other participants which needs to be broken, the descriptive questions will be evaluated.
1st, 2nd, 3rd and Encouragement Prizes will be awarded and Prize Points will be given as follows ...

Second Prize ..... 4 points
Third Prize ..... 1 point
Enc Prize ..... 0 point
All The Participants Will Receive Participation Certificates Online
3 Top schools with the highest aggregate points will get Trophies and Prizes as follows:
Best School
First Runner-Up School
Second Runner-Up School
There will be a Special Trophy for the School which has the Maximum Number of Participants, irrespective of the points scored.
The Prizes for all the Groups will be declared Online on 4th Feb 2021
