Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Math announced the 27th Inter-Collegiate Essay-Writing Competition.
The objective of such competitions is to inculcate the character building teachings of Swami Vivekananda amongst the younger generation so that they grow to become noble citizens of our Motherland.
ELIGIBILITY & TOPIC
Junior College Students (Class XI and XII)
Face the Brute – Concept of Courage & Boldness according to Swami Vivekananda
Or
My India – The Eternal India (not exceeding 2000 words)
Degree/Diploma Students
Service to Man is Service to God - Swami Vivekananda
or
Relevance of Swami Vivekananda's Teachings in Current Scenario
(not exceeding 2500 words)
LANGUAGES IN WHICH COMPETITION IS HELD MARATHI / HINDI / ENGLISH
The essays neatly written/typed in double spacing should be submitted by Courier or E-mail on vivekotsavrkm@gmail.com so as to reach not later than Sunday, 31 st January 2021.

All the above information should be written on top of the essay paper.
Please Do Not Copy directly from the reference books.
Students are expected to express the content in their own words.
Prizes
Separate prizes for Junior as well as Degree / Diploma students in
Marathi, Hindi and English Languages will be declared.
Prizes consist of :
I Prize : Cash Award of Rs. 1000/- ,
II Prize : Cash Award of Rs. 600/-,
III Prize : Cash Award of Rs. 400/-.
Encouragement Prize : Cash Award of Rs. 200/-
(in case sufficient number of essays are not received, books on and
by Swami Vivekananda will be given by way of prizes instead of cash
The result of the Essay Competition will be announced on 28 th February 2021 and the same will be conveyed to the prize winners and all participating colleges
